  • Sorry! I slowed down to see why there were 4 cop cars at this one intersection. On the way back I decided to avoid that area and took a side street. And there's the 2 extra minutes. LOL!
Ok. I'm back. did I take more than 20 minutes? LOL! And I did not enjoy the driving at this hour. People just shouldn't work at night at all. :D
Okies! Hey, I have to give someone a ride to work. I'll be back in like 20 minutes. If you're still here we'll talk more ok? sorry.
What kind of party are you planning? And writing a song it's not that easy. But I bet you will write a really good one.
I also gave it it's own thread. It's titled "my first (short) story EVER...!!" You can comment on that one if you want.
Hi Alex! I wrote a short story for (and in) the Narnia Day Contest thread in the writer's forum. If you want to go check it out it's called "Noble Blood Line."
I heard about them. I know how they are. We have fires every year in Southern California. Probably not as bad as the ones you had this past summer, but people do die each year. Don't worry, I'll be safe.
Anyway, I gotta go now.:( I'll be back tomorrow and we can talk some more, ok? Have a great evening and a good day tomorrow.
    Your friend,:)
    Michael
Beautiful place I guess. When I go to Australia (some day) I will definitely go to your city. I'll probably start from there then go right and up to Canberra, Sydney, and around to Brisbane, the Barrier Reef, Darwin, Perth and back to your town! That would be the awesomest trip!!
Thanks. I knew you were in the future. It's 11:30 PM of the 18 here.
And I agree that Melbourne should have been the capital. It has a nicer sound and better appeal than Canberra. Sydney sounds nice too but making Sydney the capital would be like making New York the capital of USA. It just doesn't work.
Sorry. Another sad topic though. I gotta go in about 10 minutes. There's a couple of things I need to finish before going to bed. What time (and date) is it in Australia? where you live?
I suppose you can't do much about that. All you can do is show your friend that you are there for her. Hopefully the family will come together when they realize this thing is serious.
Then there's people like you who are there for support and help. When the time comes when she has to face reality, she will be counting on you for that support. It will be hard, but at least right now she can still function.
denial is a defense mechanism. It's what allows some people to function in the face of terrible challenges. She could be doing it to help herself deal with the fact that she is sick.
