What about costuming?
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: The Centaurs wear medival armor, and the dwarves are sort of viking styled armor. The costuming is all very beautifully tailored to naturally fit the cast and the period the story is set within. Reportedly, the White Witch goes through about seven costume changes in the film.

What about sets?
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: Lots of the movie will be shot in New Zealand, so we'll see more of the terrain that was used in The Lord of the Rings. The set for the Train Station has been constructed, and we have pictures up here.

Prince Caspian: The film is shooting a bit in New Zealand, about four months in Prague and then moving over to Slovenia for a time. I'm sure that the castle of King Miraz will either be a very large set, or will be done in actual castle locations (where, I'm not sure).

What will the battles be like?
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: The battle at the Witch's Castle is a lot like the battles of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings, without all the bloodshed. It features wide-angled shots showing that there is a battle being fought, and close up footage of damage being done, but not highly detailed stabbing. It's a pretty brutal, but not gruesome or even graphic, battle.

What about weapons and armor?
The Narnian armies wield many various types of weaponry, which includes swords and spears.
