Watch Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and you will find yourself in an enchanted land, bursting magical forests, breezy meadows, dark caves, and spectacular mountain ranges, all of them boasting secrets yearning to be discovered. Narnia is a world like no other, enclosing fauns and sentors, dwarfs and talking beavers. Yet in a land where joy and pleasure should skip through every valley and soar over every mountain peak, an evil darkness looms. Fields that should be alive with buttercups and daisies have been blanketed in snow for a hundred years. Brooks that should be bubbling mirthfully have remained silent ice for a century. Narnia is under the reign of the White Witch, who has made it always winter and never Christmas. Her evil power shrouds the land that, at one time, was a happy haven of tranquility and peace, but is now a place of darkness and despair. Yet there is an ancient prophecy that if two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve reign on the thrones in the beautiful castle called Cair Paravel, the Witch's spell will be destroyed and Narnia will be free from her evil grasp. The Narnians who believe in Aslan still retain their hope, buried deep inside them, that one day, this old prophecy will be fulfilled. And it is because of this prophecy that the true Narnians catch their breath in hope, and the Witch catches hers in terror, when a Daughter of Eve finds herself in Narnia. And when, in addition, it is rumored that Aslan himself, the great and good lion, the creator of Narnia, is on the move, every Narnian soul awakens to the thought that there may soon experience springtime once more.

This movie features absolutely stunning music combined with spectacular footage of breathtaking mountain ranges and broad, green valleys. The unusual creatures of this magical land appear exactly as described in the book, providing an accurate portrayal of C.S. Lewis’s Narnia. The special and digital effects are very realistic. The acting, especially on the part of the four Pevensie siblings, is superb, and they all display lovely costumes. I really just can’t say enough good things about this exciting film. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your journey into the amazing world of Narnia!
