One of the things I love about God is how He reminds us sometimes that we belong to Him. A couple of weeks ago, I was at work. I was talking to a man that I had never met before nor seen before and he had no idea who I was; it was dark so he could not have seen me that well anyway. My only words to him before he started talking to me was, "How are you doing this evening?" As he was talking, his choice of words suggested to me that he most likely was not a believer (I could be wrong!). And for some reason, while he was in the middle of a sentence, he stopped talking. He looked at me closer, squinting in the dark and said, "you're a Christian, aren't you?" I replied, "Is it that obvious?" The man said, "Well, you are, aren't you?" I said, "yes I am." The man then put both his palms up, facing me as if to stop me from coming closer, and said, "I can tell!" The man then went on with what he was saying as if he had never stopped talking. Some may call this crazy, but this was a real experience for me. Anyone else had an experience like this?

Hmm - that sounds surreal. Wonder what was really going on there.

I remember once when I was in the service in the late '70s. I was one of the few practicing Christians on my small cutter. We got a new crewmember aboard, a profane and annoying character who was difficult for all of us to deal with. It was particularly difficult for me to deal with him in charity, but since that was the mission, I attempted it even if I failed more often than I succeeded.

One night one of the other Christian crewmen and I were heading out to do some Bible study together, and as I was passing through the mess deck I placed my Bible on a table. The Profane Crewman was passing through and spotted it. Crying out with glee and pointing at my Bible, he hollered, "That's it! You're a Jesus Freak! I knew there was something about you!"

I just said, "thank you very much," and left. Even though I was failing fairly badly in extending charity to this fellow, the Holy Spirit was getting something through.

That is awesome, Prince! Even though non-believers may ridicule us, they are watching our every move... It is a sober responsibility as believers to live according to His Word; knowing we are in a fish tank so to speak. What an honor; to be shouted at and given the label, Jesus Freak! Cool story.

God never really left those who never failed to remembered him
asks why? four years ago, my father got an accident, it was truly a miracle,
he was working as a quality controller in a car company somewhere in middle east,
there was one time, a customer was buying a car and together with that client and him, they tested the car, the car ran fast, (i dont know the k/h) but certainly it is really fast, that he said, it was almost flying, my father, who was on the drivers seat, did a wrong turn, and since it was so fast, the car stumbled, and fal on to the dessert,
it was a miracle, coz, he got only some bruises and some scratches, but the client, got a broken back, feet, and some sort of like that, the car was pretty injured too, since he was in another country, we were tense that he might get jailed if the man will die, but God, really helped us, he didnt go to jail, the man, admit that it was his fault bec, he never wear the seatbelt, and he only paid half the price of the car, everything went well after that,
but the thing is, God was there when we asked him for that.

Default Life's Simple Advice

" Life's Simple Advice "

Don't date because you are desperate.
Don't marry because you are miserable.

Don't philander because you think you are irresistible.

Don't associate with people you can't trust.

some of life's more hasty decisions.
To terminate your loneliness, reach out to the homeless.
To feed your nurturing instincts, care for the needy.
To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a puppy. (or a cat! )
Don't bring another life into this world for all the wrong reasons.

To make yourself happy, pursue your passions and be the best of what you can be.
Simplify your life. Take away the clutter.
Get rid of destructive elements: abusive friends, nasty habits, and dangerous liaisons.
Don't abandon your responsibilities but don't overdose on duty.

Don't live life recklessly without thought and feeling for your family.
Be true to yourself.
Don't commit when you are not ready.
Don't keep others waiting needlessly.

Go on that trip. Don't postpone it.
Say those words. Don't let the moment pass.
Do what you have to, even at society's scorn.

Write poetry.
Love Deeply.
Walk barefoot.
Dance with wild abandon.
Cry at the movies.

Take care of yourself.
Don't wait for someone to take care of you.
You light up your life.
You drive yourself to your destination.
No one completes you - except YOU.

It is true that life does not get easier with age. It only gets more challenging.
Don't be afraid. Don't lose your capacity to love.
Pursue your passions.

Live your dreams.
Don't lose faith in your God.
Don't grow old. Just grow YOU!
