Here's some photography of mine. I had the chance to visit Stan Hywet over the weekend. It's a really beautiful Estate in Akron Ohio. They have some amazing scenery, gardens, and a really beautiful historic manor. If you ever come through Ohio, I would DEFINITELY encourage you to visit it!

Anyhow, while I was there, I got the chance to take some nice pictures:

I've heard of Stan Hywet, I need to go there sometime. Nice pictures, they're very pretty and I love the angles.

Hey guys, sorry it's been a while (Life's been taking up quite a bit of my time ;P)

I recently got some Fall photography in before the snow came. I hope you enjoy them :)

Thanks Annemarie :)

So here are a few pictures I had a ton of fun with this week :D

The first one is of the brand new Prisma Color's I got. I loved the arrangement of the colors in contrast with the black lid. I also thought that the whimsical painting on the front gave it the perfect touch. It was taken with my tablet and edited quickly through instagram.

The next one is of another picture I took of the same arrangement of colored pencils. I took this on my Canon point-and-shoot. I was having troubles with the pencils not lining up and with reflection, so I ultimately decided to rotate the image to hide the things I didn't like; I really liked the results. I then placed a layer (wooden boards) atop that in Gimp, and finished editing it in Picasa.

After this one comes another picture taken with the same camera. I decided not to do any layering, but just add some effects in Picasa. Ironically I used the "Pencil Sketch" effect, and I feel like it made the picture.

Finally comes the same picture, but an inverted version. I just thought this looked cool :p

I hope you guys like these! I haven't done graphics in a very long time, but I feel that this time around I really enjoyed it a lot more than before. I loved taking the pictures myself, instead of using someone else's. I am also glad that I got some experience with layering, something I really want to get good at. and since the last time I worked on graphics, I picked up some skills on Gimp, which I really like now :)
