The Inquistion writes poetry! Quick, shield your eyes!

an incredibly poorly-rhymed bit of nothing in honor of being over caffeinated:

Why did I drink that large coffee so late

My brain is racing and my fingers shake

Tomorrow I have mass in the A.M.

I’ll probably be sitting up still then

When I was in the Navy,
My shipmates thought me crazy,
Because I hated coffee; I still do.
I'll drink tea by the barrel,
As does my sweetheart Carol,
But coffee stinks worse than an old gym shoe.

Just to keep Span-Inq's thread alive for her:

There was a young woman called Bethany,
Who pondered great questions quite heavily.
But she looked on askance
At tales of romance,
Saying, "Love stories will be the death of me!"

The Spanish Inquisition writes poetry? I wasn't expect...never mind.

My favorites so far are 'Modern Expressionistical Dadaism', and 'Javert: The Lawful Cat'. CATS and Les Mis are two of my favorite plays (Up there with The Phantom of the Opera) so that one was especially good for me.

May I steal bits of it for something I'm writing? I promise to credit you.
