Favorite Love Songs?

*laughs* I think someone compared Damian's voice to his. I've never heard him so I wouldn't know.

he's a country singer. I'm not really someone who listens to country, but he's an exception. he has really good songs, even if half of them are kinda sad and depressing... but that's country for ya...

My husband and I, our song is "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid soundtrack, and at our wedding we had "Truly, Madly, Deeply," which is a tremendous love song by, I believe, Savage Garden?

Yep, it was Savage Garden - I remember being obsessed with that song in junior high! Was it the first song y'all danced to? It is so lovely :)

My faves...

I Just Do - Dear and the Headlights

I'm such a mess
I'm rushing to open your car door
You lean and open mine before
I can turn the key and
Oh I just love you Oh I just love you

The Way I Am - Ingrid Michaelson

I'd buy you Rogaine when you start losing all your hair.
Sew on patches to all you tear.
Cause I love you more than I could ever promise.
And you take me the way I am.

When the Day Met the Night - Panic at the Disco

When the moon found the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
But her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer
...So he said, "Would it be all right
If we just sat and talked for a little while
If in exchange for your time
I give you this smile?"
So she said, "That's okay
As long as you can make a promise
Not to break my little heart
Or leave me all alone in the summer."

My favourite love songs

I must say that I'm italian so my English can't be perfect and I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing as a new member to get points, so I say mnow that I'm sorry if I'm making a mistake!

Apart from Italian love songs, if I consider English or American love songs I prefer:
- Hurt, Christina Agiulera
- Your Song, Ewan Mc Gregor
-The best, Tina Turner
-You're beautiful, James Blunt

I love, love, love "So Close" from "Enchanted." I've got the soundtrack and I'm always so anxious for it to get to that song. :p It's so sweet, but sad.

So many good songs in this thread!

For myself, the classic Time in a Bottle comes to mind, as my parents consider it their 'theme song' - I love Josh Groban's (Don't Give Up) You are Loved, and also Believe from 'The Scarlet Pimpernel.'

One my dad would sing to us when we were younger was Tom T. Hall's I Care.
