Default My Great Uncle (this time it is for guidance)

Hey guys, some time ago (June 3) I put up a thread about one of my two surviving Great Uncles being on his death bed. Over the past few weeks, I have had this weird urge to try to find out if he did indeed die (he had not been on speaking terms with my part of the family for several years). Tonight was the first time I tried looking it up online (Kentucky Obits), and I found out a couple of minutes ago that my Great Uncle died on Oct. 2.

Please pray for me to have the right words to tell my Mom, or to decide if I ought to tell my Mom at all (I might tell my Dad so that he can tell her instead).

Also, for those of you Catholics (or those inclined to pray for the dead) please pray for my Great Uncle, Fr. Ed. He took a lot of stuff to the grave with him that ought have been taken care of in his lifetime. I don't know if everyone was able to forgive each other for the the things that caused the falling out that has happened. Certainly, we still aren't on speaking terms with any of my grandmother's siblings. The reason for it is not something I can explain, nor is it something that I even understand fully myself, but it is how it is.

Please Pray.

I'll pray that you have the wisdom to know how to tell your parents about this.

Dear Lava
I hope your mother was receptive to what you had to say. It really is tough when something happens that cuts people off from each other, especially when such breaks occur in families. It seems like your timing was really +fortunate in doing the search for your great uncle-- God bless you for following His leading.
