A word about "Sophia Renee."

I am probably the oldest person here (in actual age, not in TDL seniority), and I am twice a widower. While I had my second wife, I used to read Christian romance novels to her out loud, because this gave her pleasure. I noticed, however, that most Christian romance authors were too worldly--not that their characters were sexually immoral, but the emotional attractions between characters were based entirely on LOOKS!! Therefore, after my second wife had been called home to Aslan's Country, I resolved to write a love story in which the hero's appeal to the heroine was his GOODNESS, not a cleft chin.

If your Celtic tastes extend far enough that you could appreciate a love story with a Scottish hero, then I invite you to search down the Writing Club queue until you find "The Tale of Sophia Renee."
