hey! nice username, lol. what bands do you like?

That's cool. I never really had that in my high school since there were so many of us. But now I'm in a bunch of classes mainly with other freshmen music majors, so that is sort of happening to me now.

It is interesting, but it's actually a lot more work than I had initially thought it would be. Still very fun though.
Wow, that is a tiny school! I think my high school had about 2000-ish people. Crazy! So I guess, you all are pretty close though. Everyone pretty much knows each other?

Trumpet and percussion, huh. That sounds cool. I play flute, but I'm a music education major, so I have to learn all the instruments. I'm in a trumpet class now, and it is so much different than flute. I'm really bad at it but it is kind of fun at the same time.
Wow, a 25 person band! That's small! Is it high school or jr. high? My jr. high marching band had about 30 of us, but I got to high school and we had a bit over 200! And college band is just crazy - 325 in marching band!
