  • Same here, I took a year sabatical from TDL and I've just returned (as you already know). For the most part I've been well in regards to body (although recently I contracted a virus that is going around, probably Influenza since I have soar throat). You'll have to forgive this Knight's memory, but we use to Role Play in my Star Wars RPG when the Dawn Treader thread was for that sort of thing right?
    Hi Afton
I merged your Growing Up thread with the older discussion of growing up vs. maturity. I hope your paper turned out well...
    blessings, Benisse
I'm honored you remember me. :) And I'm glad you're back and posting.

(I love your avvie and sig!)
Nothing you're doing is wrong or out of line in any way. Just because I didn't remember past contacts with you, doesn't mean I can't enjoy hearing from you now! Whenever you do have time to read my longer works, I hope you find them inspiring. The adoptive parents in "Alipang Havens" are based on my first wife and me; and my mother, that impartial judge, says that the leading male character in "Sophia Renee" IS me.
I know, it's been forever!! I've been good. Senior year is starting to get stressful with college applications and stuff, but overall it's been OK. I can't wait until I'm accepted somewhere and I can just relax! :p How have you been, my dear Sarah? ♥
Hey girl! I took a quick look at the playlist on your blog.. you have such good taste! ♥
Y'know, if you read my major stories, you will see that in them I offer illustrations of what it is like for a human soul to come into a relationship with Jesus.
A woman I'm acquainted with by way of the Colorado Renaissance Festival told us that her sister Jenny had terminal cancer. I became one of those who left messages on a guestbook that was set up for Jenny. She has passed away by now; but you might care to see how some of us tried to minister to her on her journey.

Yes, you may call me Joseph. I confess that, in a world full of people in spiritual and material troubles, whom I am sometimes able to help a bit, I had completely forgotten that past contact with you. I'm glad I was useful; that counts as bread on the waters coming back.

I have glanced at that woman's weblog. Her little girl is TOO adorable! I can't listen to her voice recording on my own computer, because it has no audio function. But perhaps the next time I'm at my daughter's house.
There are more than those in my dedicated thread. Did you read "You Can't Win Them All" and "The Ambassadors"?
Look at the Sonnets thread again, while recalling how Paul wrote that ONLY Christ could lay the foundation, yet that WE then build ON that foundation.
Yes, I used to have links in my sig, but things change...

You can check the threads I've created under my statistics.
School wise... nothing. Life wise... not much :D. I write short stories and I play MADDEN NFL, and I get on TDL. But I have great ambitions. I'd like to teach history someday. Job wise, I'm a cashier at A&W Restaurant.
Ha ha, I was wondering how long it would take you to notice your sonnet if I didn't tell you about it myself! Besides cheering people up, another reason why I write my sonnets is to educate the rising generation in the CONCEPT of poetry in an organized form. Too many young people have never seen ANY poetry except the so-called poetry which is NOTHING BUT prose phrases randomly broken up. The self-discipline required to put your thought into an exact format, and still have it BE the thought you wanted to express, is in my opinion a valuable intellectual exercise.
Well, there's not much difference. Easterners live on the east side of the City, while westerners, well, you get the idea. Personally, I think southerners are the most pleasant. :D
