  • Let's see.... during those 75 years (of what, the planet Mercury?), I entered my third marriage, to a local woman named Carol. She even joined TDL for a while, using the name Karoliina Aleksandra. (That double-I is deliberate, it's how they spell the name in her ancestral Finland.) But scarcely three years passed before she decided she just didn't FEEL LIKE being married, and left me.

More recently, a woman from Oklahoma, with the unusual first name of J-O-H-N-N-A, pretended to fall in love with me after I helped her in difficulty. She did this in order to get more help; then, when I had served my purpose, she bailed.
Les Mes was wonderful,BTW should you ever return to these green pastures. (someone's got to mow the grass and it isn't me).
The "Five Things About Yourself" thread will tell some of my news. Meanwhile, I am about a third of the way through writing the second volume of "Grey Eagle;" and some people owe me large amounts of money that I'm sure I'll never see a cent of.
    Hi Spinq,
I hope God's faithfulness is sustaining you.
Please vote for your top 3 names for the Lady of the Green Kirtle here.
Make that a hair OVER one-third my age. Meanwhile, did you ever do anything further with that story of yours that I checked out for you?
Happy birthday, salty-heart! I send you a NUG; and I suppose you are just about one-third of my age.
Just said a prayer that God would help you through this stressful busy time.. and bless your use of time granting you fruitfulness in every good work
Yeah, I have to agree with you there. I thought the play was interesting, but I didn't like Hamlet himself.
I am very much alive, and I'm so sorry for disappearing like I did... My school work was suffering at the time, and I kind of had to take a mandatory hiatus. One thing led to another, and the next thing I knew, I hadn't logged on in years! Yikes.
But I'm glad to be back!
By all means, salty-heart, show me your story. If you don't mind others seeing it at the same time, I would be very pleased for you to place it in the long-inactive Short Story Academy.
If you _worked_ at all, your end product is probably better than what many college students turn in these days. In celebration, I'll e-mail you _one_ chapter of Grey Eagle today.
Disregard my previous, I have now seen that you did reply to my e-mail. But if your essay is not finished, what are you doing here?
I suppose you know that Dante Aleghieri (sp?) practically invented the Italian language singlehanded.
Actually, school is PART OF your life, salty-heart. And remember, that thread is actually CALLED "Attention-Deficit Roleplaying," so sudden changes of storyline are kosher.
You can see that I've still accommodated others. If any really strong effort at new action is made, we could even have Ivan and Vissarion stumble OUT OF the lost dimension and find themselves in the new action.
