Your Russian sentence wasn't bad, apart from слушалъся. First, no hard-sign is needed there; second, the reflexive "-sya" ending isn't needed either; and third, the verb you used is one that means actively listening. The verb for simply _hearing_ something is almost the same, except that the first vowel in it is that infuriating vowel which looks like the number 61.

Also, "spasibo" is neuter, so the "BOLSHOY" with it needs to be in neuter form too.
