  • I hope your summer is going well. There is a new contest --Live Like a Narnian-- which I think you would rock.
When I completed the first Alipang Havens novel, I had come up to a time about A YEAR LATER than the time it actually was as I was writing. So I knew that, if there was to be a sequel, it would need to project into the future. So "The Possible Future of Alipang Havens" takes place in the years 2025 and 2026. I imagine today's trends in massive central government having only gotten still worse.
I can't remember if you ever read my first "Alipang Havens" novel, but by now the SECOND one, much longer, is almost completed.
You're welcome! That movie is one of my favorites. I actually have a stuffed Bolt. My mom laughed at me for being childish, but I think he's cute! :D
Have you read Copperfox's The First Love of Alipang Havens story? It's seriously very good. One of the few on here that is actually written well.
The American Civil War began as soon as President Lincoln was elected. Several states automatically withdrew from the Union and the first conflict began, when Fort Sumter was attacked. The Union was not equally wrong to the South, their whole desire was not to fight, but to UPHOLD the Union.

If the Americans decided to let Hitler have his way, millions more on top of those who had already been massacred would be dead. The European Jew Population would be non-existent. Tell me, how our interference in the war to end genocide, and to prevent the unwarranted indefinite takeover of several European countries by Nazi Germany was a bad thing?
What a beautiful association, and a very good reminder to pray. Thanks!
Blessings, Benisse (but you can call me Linda)
P.S. I created the Chinese motto myself
I hope you're keeping current with the "Existence of Honor" Socratic thread. A sneaky effort is afoot there to justify the falsely-named Fairness Doctrine.
    Hi Dawnpatrol,
Thanks for your kind comment about my signature. I took that picture up in the hills toward Yosemite. The tree in the foreground is supposed to be the oldest tree in the area (not counting redwoods and sequoias in the national parks), and it is H-U-G-E
