  • I'm doing great (and in fact just posted a comment on your blog :)). I'm really enjoying college life, though it does get somewhat busy.

    And you?
You could probably find it in my under "Lossendil's threads" on my statistics page if you wanted too. I don't think I've update in forever . . . there is one post I've been working on, but I was planning to post that and stop, for now.
Life is good and wonderful, but busy at the moment. I'm trying to stay ahead of my homework, which isn't easy. But I'm also fully enjoying every moment of the day. I also think I'll eventually become a coffee addict, I'm begining to see its merits.

Oh, and I've been meaning to ask you, how would you convey the emotions of a character who doesn't outwardly express emotions? I mean, if others can never really see what this person is thinking, and yet you want your readers to know, how do you do it, short of using his POV? Is it even possible?

And how have you been? I hope life's been as good to you as it has been to me (short of the homework. But still, I enjoy it. Yay, I'm weird. :p)
Did you do that? I mean, have some people from Narnia Fans beta read your novel? I did have one person I know that was willing to read my story, but as of yet, it's so poorly done I'd be afraid even she couldn't fix it. ): I'm working on it, though.
Oh, I thought you had gmail. Whoops. :)
Where do you get these so called 'beta readers'? I've never heard of them before.
I'm good, thanks! I've been writing and finished the first draft of a YA story called 'Feathers'. It's a modern retelling of the Swan Lake story. If you've ever heard of Meg Cabot's 'Avalon High', it's a bit like that---I took the characters from Swan Lake and made them into modern highschoolers and put the setting at a camp with a Lake (obviously! :) ). Anyway, it's pretty poorly done right now, but I'm a bit timid when it comes to editing. I get bored of it easily. :)
Turns out it's only 80,000. Whoops! I'll probably have to pare it down anyway. Oh, by the way, I invited you to chat...so now you know my full name! :) Anyway, talk to you later!
Thanks for the compliment on my poetry! :) I saw on your blog that you were starting to edit your book---good luck! That's the part that always trips me up. I had a question about YA, btw, since you should probably know: the YA author Meg Cabot said 78,000 words is average, but would 88,000 be way too much? Just thought you might know after all those author interviews. :)
I'll put it on tiny pic today so you can do that. But my little brother using the big computer that has the file so you'll have to wait until around 2:30 or so.
Also it's ok about the avvie. I wanted a banner but i was writing it absent mindedly and said avvie LOL.
Oh wait can you resize the banner to about 382x186?
Thats the only way it will work on my siggie so that it's big enough to see.
But I WILL use it don't worry
    Aww thanks those are great!
I didn't like the avvie so much so I think i'll us my own,but thanks for the banner!
Maybe you could use mine and I'll use yours how about it?
Um look around at my threads and read my interests for avvie ideas.
    I LOVE Tigers,Pink,Narnia,and Ben barnes.
Also,no there isn't a link but I'll PM it to you as soon as i can.
