  • :D :D :D Thank you. The title was pretty much the first thing I started thinking about when I figured out I was a mod.
Thanks, I couldn't have done it without my blogger. :D

And actually, I do kind of mean that. You and Rainshadow are a lot of the reason I managed to stay interested in the forum for the last year when it was dying again. So thank you. ^_^
Merry Christmas, Watson!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you guys are having a simply splendid day and I'm simply ecstatic that you are still around to help me keep this forum alive. ^_^
Hahaha! No worries, over breaks from school I watch whatever episode is on, so I'm used to spoilers/being confused. XD I had heard about that (Ziva leaving) when it was at rumor stage, I was really just more surprised to find that it was true. The last plot I remember finishing was when Gibb's cowboy friend (the one who called Gibbs proby) came back and sent Tony back to headquarters when they were trailing someone.... So awhile ago
Wha? I'm kinda behind a few years, thanks to school... though I am learning lots! But, that's a shame! :/ But yeah it's one of my favorite shows! :)
Pooooookie! (You asked me to go back on, so I did. Hi! Now come to the Land of the Duffers before I get bored and wander out of Narnia again! >:-D )
    Hi Eustace,
I would like to cordially invite you to submit names for properties for the Narniopoly project I have started
I have no idea how many cities we went to. A lot. xD We pretty much speed walked through most of them, though there were several that we had a couple of hours to shop/wander around at.
I went with People to People. It is an organization that sends high school and middle school students to other countries to experience the culture. It was founded in 1956 by President Eisenhower.
It was what I considered my missions trip. I didn't share the gospel with anyone directly (I don't think I'd ever be very good at that. I'm only good at expressing myself and telling people stuff in writing. Usually I'm a very quiet, shy person.), but I did try to act differently and set an example. I also fought my own battles in my faith and I think I succeeded, mostly, in winning those. I also tried to make people see that I was a Christian, and I hope I succeeded in that regard.
I've been on two official missions trips- one local and one to Honduras.
Oh no, they have showers, just really weird ones. The trick is, figuring out how to activate the shower when there's also a bath- I became an expert at that.:D We stayed in hotels that gave us beds, and breakfasts so I assume that at least some where, but they were all very nice. (One did have footprints on the ceiling though, but that was the best hotel ever, so... xD)
The food was.... odd. We did have some authentic food from the countries, but a lot of it was wannabe American food, which could be annoying at times, because it wasn't the best copy. The food wasn't BAD most of the time, just differently made and less European than I would have thought. Well, except for the food at the homestay (I spent three nights and two days with an Italian family) that was authentic, and GOOD.
Lets see. I took 2150+ pictures, I went to Madrid, Barcelona, Carcassone, Avingnon, Cannes, Ez, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Rome and all the major stuff in it.... Yeah, just ask me about somewhere. xD
I'm petrified of heights (literally, at times) but I had heard about the rappel since day one and I was going to do it because it sounded like something out of a book and it sounded EPIC. And I did, and I enjoyed it.... Once I got past the edge of the wall and started actually going down it. xD When I got down was the proudest moment of my life so far (trumping the ones from when I finished my books).
I went to Spain, France, Monaco, Italy and the Vatican. We had no translator for any of the countries- except for the two kids who spoke fluent Spainish and the one that spoke fluent French and our main leader, who was from Europe- I can speak decent Spanish, after three years of it in high school, and most Italians also speak Spanish. I know about three words in French. xD We communicated with hand signals and movements when talking to people who knew neither Spanish, nor English, but most Europeans know a bit of English at least.
It went wonderfully. So many Awsomeatic moments.
You know what's different about Europe? They use stone for almost everything. Even modern buildings. In the U.S. we use metal and wood which doesn't last long at all. I have seen such architecture, you would not believe. And the random castles! Every few miles there's just a random castle sitting on a hilltop overlooking some small town in Europe. Its crazy!
I have so many more random history facts now too. Like, the Coliseum is only about a third there because for years after the Roman Empire fell it was used as a quarry, because it had no other purpose to the people. Carcassone (where Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves was filmed- in France, ironically) was also used in this way.
Besides my newfound knowledge I also conquered one of my greatest fears and rappelled down a 100 foot castle (of a 1000 year old castle) wall which was what I was most excited for on this trip.:D
What do you want to know?
