  • Hey, I know you'll probably never get this, but I was just thinking about this forum and had to get back on for old times and was looking around and remembering how we talked a lot and became friends and I guess I just wanted to say thank you and that I really enjoyed that. You were so fun to talk to and I will honestly never forget this website and the friends I made. Anyway, its been fun to reminisce and be my younger self for a little. have a wonderful life my friend!
Wow, it's been 5 years since I've been here... Do you still get on? Or even remember me?

I just re-read our old conversations... it seems forever ago.

Well, I hope you're doing ok!

    ...Continuation of the post below.

On the topic of the tour, it was a school choir tour for performance reasons. We traveled to Pennsylvania, New York, and Washington D.C. The tour was fantastic; however, my grandfather passed away while I was on the tour. It was difficult, but God really provided in miraculous ways.

Enough about me, how have you been? How has school been this semester? How is the job going now? I would love to hear one of your funny stories of the Grocers life! ;D

Have a wonderful day my friend. Hopefully we will both be online sometime soon!
    Hey there!

I tend to have these random spans of time that I get on and off of this site. I just purchased the BBC Narnia movies I have been watching them with some friends on this Valentines Day. After we watched "the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," we had a fans discussion of how big of fans we were... I pulled out the old Narnia Fans Forum. She was apart of another forum, but I think ours is probably more regulated. :D

On the idea of working, I really enjoyed both of the jobs. McDonald's was not my ideal place of working, but while I was there, I made the most of my time! Tutoring is wonderful! I enjoy the interaction with other people trying to learn. I am no longer tutoring or working at McDonald's. While at school, I have been working in my department office and as a Teachers Assistant. I have loved both of those jobs as well!

    Hi,
I am soliciting favorite quotes for a 2015 Narnian Quote Calendar collaboration project. If you have a chance, please post some of your favorite quotes from any of the Chronicles of Narnia to that thread. Thanks!
A job as a librarian or archivist.
I do hope you find one, they can be terribly expensive, and of course the more affordable the older they get (which eventually leads to repairs). It's a messy business.
You shouldn't procrastinate, Patrick :p That is way to average student of you :p Not... that I ever did... lol Good to hear that it came out well :)

He has his "Back to School Night" today, which is odd considering they have been in school for like a month now.
Really? You just forgot about it or something? Yes, summer is quickly coming to a close. My husband will be teaching First Grade this year; he starts next week. We have been spending the past week in his classroom getting his "Forest Friends First Grade" all decorated. :)
Yay, Junior Year! Where you have to be all stressed out thinking about, "Where will I go to college?" or "Do I have all my credits in so that I can graduate next year?" :p
I am getting all ready to be a 4-h leader. It is so confusing because California does it differently than Oregon... So, I am playing phone tag currently trying to know where my background check goes and such.
Well, I just got my job back at McDonalds and I am still working as a tutor at my college. Haha, for now I am working on music for school. We are going on tour just after the new year, so I will be preparing for that.

How has your job been thus far? Working at a grocery store seems like it could be fun, but also have the potential to become frustrating.
I don't know. We having picked it up yet. It is at my grandparents in Cali.

Well, that's good to hear! Now you know what ideas to steal when you get married some day! ;)
My truck? I don't know. I just know that it is a Ford F1-50 that my grandpa has had since I was a kid.

Well, good for him! How fun! :)
