  • I don't recall if you ever read "Alipang Havens;" but the thread is still there, with the _second_ volume almost finished. Meanwhile, from the _slight_ jump into the future I made with Alipang, I've moved to a much longer time-leap. On Facebook, if you use that, I have a project page for a novel set in the middle 22nd century. The tyranny I imagine in the future is defied by a hero based on my TDL roleplay character of Grey Eagle.

Well, I'll confess that it's got a stage that read a blog that is interesting and engaging and I get to a part where the writer goes, "I can't talk about Twilight because Meyer cannot write" (not "I don't think Meyer cannot write" but "Meyer cannot write" like it's a universal law of some sort), I close the window. So yah me? :p
I never knew that. The only book in the series I've read is Twilight and the movies which I've watched don't bring up Christianity, to the best of my recollection. You're right, that is very brave of Meyer. Glad you appreciated my comments on the HP thread. I'm not a Twilight fan... but I'm fed up with HP being lauded for being some sort of morale tale when to any discerning reader there are a lot of things rotten in the state of Hogwarts.
Happy birthday (a wee bit early)!
Hello! I once knew a Kate Sullivan in Illinois; but you would have to be 49 years old to be she.
