I feel a bit embarrassed :o cause I'm totally new to the NARNIA saga.
I saw the books today at a store and I was really interested in buying them.
I've seen the movie trailers, and since I'm a huge fantasy book fan, I want to know about the books and buy them.

Sorry again for being so ignorant, but I though this is the best place to get real good information about the NARNIA books.

Thanks and hi to everyone at the forum. :)

Welcome Iron Morgoth, the Narnia books are must read if you're a fantasy fan. (I'm guessing by your SN you're a Tolkien fan?)They were actually the first fantasy books I ever read myself - I'd readily recomend them to everyone, especially someone familar with the Inklings.

I hope you enjoy your stay here, and maybe learn some more stuff about the series.

Which book do you recommend me to read first?

Since your name was 'Morgoth' I was guessing you weren't just a movie fan. :D

'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe' I'd suggest reading first; though not chronologically first, it was written before the prequel (Magician's Nephew) and gives you a good history of the world and the people in it.

I hope you enjoy it. :)

I hope you will love the books as wedo. Gray gave you good advice about where to start. Have a look around the forums, too, plenty of Tolkien stuff to comment on ... :D
