which narnia movie do you think will be the best
It's hard to say. I think that one of the LEAST favorites would be the SILVER CHAIR, because I don't see that book as being as popular as the others. But I'm not sure if they're going to make that book into a movie.
I'd say that the LWW was a fantastic movie, but I am really looking forward to THE LAST BATTLE and VOTDT. I loved VOTDT. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that VOTDT is going to be my personal favorite.

Oh come on, don't you remember Puddleglum? He was like the best part of that book for me but thats cause my brother would read to us and he was really good with voices. . . :D

LOL well LWW was fantastic. Its pretty hard to imagine the others beating it because the book LWW was the sorta book that can be made into an exciting, good movie. The others still can, but I can't really imagine seeing them be better than LWW. I don't think PC will be as good. I can't wait for VDT--that should be pretty interesting too, especially with all the special effects for the different islands. SC might be okay...I didn't like the book as much as the others (and yes, they're making it into a movie, as the 3rd in the trilogy of PC, VDT, and SC-filming them back to back). MN will be cool, seeing how AA (hopefully Andrew!) envisioned Narnia's beginning. Same with LB, with Narnia's ending. And HHB...well...that was probably my second-least favorite.
But who knows? Until the movies all come out, I don't really have an opinion as to what movie will be the best. But I'm usually drawn more to the original. So for right now, I'll say that LWW will be the best.

HHB! I can't wait for that one! I totally have Bree and Hwin envisioned, and I'll stubbornly refuse to change it unless I find a better picture in my mind's eye ;) . And I hope they make those tombs really creepy, hehe. Although I would really enjoy Puddleglum and his somewhat mopey ways.................

I'm going to say Voyage of the Dawn Treader, because of its adventurous tone, the Sea Monster, and the beauty of the last chapters in going to the edge of the world. The imagery would be fantastic on film. And then, The Last Battle.

Although LWW has set a really high standard, it is too early to say which will be the best film. That will depend on a lot of factors: Screenplay, actors, setting, cinematography, continuity, effects, soundtrack, costumes, etc. On this basis, all the films have an equal footing. I do expect the bar to be raised as the series goes along. Eventually, LWW and the earlier films will have to be 'tweaked' to bring them up to the level of the latest films. Ultimately, I hope they are all equally good. I hope they are so good, that no one tries to re-make them in my lifetime.
The one I am most looking forward to is 'The Silver Chair'. That is my favorite story, and it has a lot of deep personal meaning for me.

I can't wait to see Voyage of the Dawn treader. It will be awesome to bring that world of dreams and Aslan's country to life, not to mention Eustace turning into the dragon and Reep! Plus, to see the ship and the sea! It will be an awesome movie, I can feel it! :p

yeah TLB will be an awesome movie, really. first of all, think of the book: it's graphic and will be extremely difficult to create. second, in the future, our technology will have improved and will be so much more; so basically, LWW will look "shrimpy" by then. :p

I have to agree with TLG on this one, but I also am looking forward to TLB, VODT, and also seeing MN on film.

VOTDT for me, and then TLB. Just because I love the adventure aspect of VOTDT sort of like Sinbad's Voyage...
there is the old "can't beat the first" sequel but wen i saw POC2 i loved it betta than the first, PC is my fave narnia book but LWW was the first one i read, i think the next ones'll be betta becoz the budget is gonna be bigger and the actors will hav more experience on the film, which means it might not take as long to film.

Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I loved that as a book and favoured it over all the others. Still, I also can't wait to see The Last Battle and The Magician's Nephew. :)
I think the movies will grow better and better as they progress. As long as their true message isn't lost, I will love them all.

Magician's Nephew, Silver Chair, Prince Caspian, Horse and His Boy

prince caspian always stuck out as a more favored one over the rest of the books, but LWW (as we have seen) was absolutely stunning on film and i loved the story a lot too. the film carried it out more detailed (like the bombing and the battle was elongated outside its few sentences) so its hard to tell.
i do think the Last Battle will probably be very interesting. im looking forward to seeing the ending to that one. i'm sure narnia's apocalypse will be given justice.
magician's nephew will also be exciting to see
lol i suppose i remain undecided.

That's weird, seeing as many, many people say that Silver Chair is their favorite. I mean it's not normal, everyone I've talked to can't stop going on about The Silver Chair.

I am really excited to see Prince Caspian after watching the LWW cuz of it's affects and all, but the Last Battle sounds good too. And The Silver Chair.....

i liked the silver chair as a book, plus im looking forward to whom they cast as prince rilian since he's described to be very handsome ;) (sorry fangirlism) they already did such a good job for peter and edmund and tumnus. lol
i think horse and his boy would probably be my least favorite because i wasn't huge on the story itself. i kind of bored me. but thats just my opinion

I'm more interested in the storylines in the books... Horse and His Boy sorta bored the socks off of me compared to LWW and VDT, but so did the Silver Chair (though they're both great, they just weren't AS great as those two). So I'm looking forward the most to VDT, and possibly the LB.

I don't know which movie will be the best, as it's too early to tell:rolleyes:, but I can't wait to see Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle! Horse and His boy, too, but it'll be harder to make it - as the tone of the story is completely different than the rest of the Chronicles.
All I have to say is: they better not ruin them!!

I think LWW will be the best because after you make one of them and its really good its hard to top it. thats how it goes with most movie series. but you never know its too early. In about 10 or so years(thats seems like a REALLY long time) when they're all out this discussion will come up and be able to answered for sure

I honestly don't know! I can picture all the books as great movies. :D
Probably LWW, because it was the first, but all the others'll be great too.
