Originally, I was going to make this a "who's the scariest villain" poll, but I chose something different. So, who would you least like to cross swords with? I picked the sea serpent, because at least the others fight on land. In a ship you have nowhere to run to, especially when you're being constantly constricted by a giant snake with armor-plated scales. (Feel free to post other characters as well)

I don't know weather to vote for the Lady of the Green Kirtle or the Sea Serpent!
Augh! How confusing.

I voted for the Lady of the Green Kirtle. She's more like Satan. Very deceptive with her words.

But would that actually make her win in a fight?

If she could use her magic, then it worked for her in The Silver Chair.

I agree with Spec. It be hard to fight against someone if you're under her spell.

I didn't think of it that way. Cool. Yup, I envy the lady. She can turn into a snake, she can put people under spells ... dude, she's powerful! <_<

Hmm I went for the sea serpent as it was never actually killed in the book (correct me if I am wrong pls). Where as the witch always died. So the witch is killable but is the sea serpent?

Everybody is voting for either the green witch or the sea serpent... all the other poor villains are feelig rather left out! jk

Well, Queen Trace, the Sea Serpant may have been killable but they didn't need to kill it in order to keep going. The had to kill the witches. Still, you have a point. Does size and strength outweigh cruelty, wit, and magic? I don't think we'll ever know ... ;)

I voted the White Witch, because in the end, it took the whole Narnian Army, plus Aslan, to defeat her... Defeating her alone would be impossible, because she would turn you into stone right away.

Not if you were able to break her wand. Pluss, at least you would know to avoid her in the first place. That Kirtle Lady is sneaky ...

Leafy, my point was, if the battle (and thereby, the entire Narnian army) weren't distracting the Witch, Edmund would never have succeeded in breaking her wand. If one had to face her alone, how could one succeed in breaking her wand without being turned to stone, first?

Dodge her first shot at you, and then kick her wand out of her hand. Then kill her before she can pick it up again and while she's destracted, watching her wand fly away from her. It probably wouldn't work ... but hey ... whatever! ;)

Thank you, dawntreader! Someone else who thinks she's scarier. Definately right. :D

If I remember correctly, Leaf, this topic is NOT about who's scarier! I've already said that the Green Witch is scarier than the White Witch elsewhere. My reason? I'd much rather be turned to stone or killed than deceived and enslaved. But this topic is about who we think would be the hardest to beat in a fight, right? That's a different story, to me anyway.

Fine! (turns up nose) Then I'll just go elsewhere! :D ;)

The White Witch maybe. Her wand-could turn you into stone! and The Emerald Witch would be tough, and the Serpent.

Well, I voted for the White Witch...but it's a toss up between her and the Lady of the Green Kirtle. They're both about the same as far as I'm concerned. Both prime evil.
