If only I had a decent digital camera! I've made a few things that are somewhat Narnian, and I knew I could share them with you all. Just use your imaginations and pretend the pictures are crystal clear with true colors. I know you can.

Images 01 and 05 are the same, copper seed beads and larger purple ones. This is the only one I didn't make up, it was a project called "celtic goddess" or something from a magazine, and it's a choker. Really gorgeous.

02 and 07 are the same, my favorite piece (I also made matching bracelet and ring) with purple leaves with iridecent finish, copper seed beads from the last, and purple, gold, and green beads. It really looks like fairy jewelry.

03 and 04 are the same, my favorite bracelet with fall colors, like you could have picked it up in the woods. Green and gold ribbon which is tight on the wrist, wooden beads, copper wire that hangs a little looser with a tiny silver bee, copper and green imperfect pearls.

06 is sort of fantasy/oceany. I wanted it to look like you could have found it on the ocean floor. Green, purple, and blue thread, silver wire, with a translucent purple stone, seashells, purple and white pearls, and bright seed beads.

08 is another water one, but different. The necklace isn't black, it's braided deep blue, light blue, and grey with pearls, pearly stars, and blue glass beads. The center pendant I wanted to look like raindrops falling. Fits like a choker.

Let me know what you think, aside from the camera. :)

Pacifiquesea...

...I really like what you've done with #8. It looks like something a dryad or water sprite would wear...

...I've done quite a few LOTR pieces but haven't started on Narnia yet...
...I will probably be lazy and see what WETA comes up with first...I adore their work...Especially their armaments...Not always acurate, but stunning on the big screen.

Jene Sai, what kind of stuff do you work with? I mean, do you do metal smithing and soldering and the whole nine yards?

Thanks for the compliments.. I was thinking of putting some things up on eBay, but those seller fees are getting sort of high, especially for something as small as jewelry it's barely worth it.

...So far I have worked mostly with clay and wire...Elven brooches, evenstars and all that good stuff...
...Cloaks were seen to be a necessity as were swords...The swords didn't last too well since I made them out of a soft pine. I have been meaning for a while to make them out of hard wood...
...I attempted crowns out of copper wire, but I was using my grandfathers soldering gun and I didn't have much luck with it. Epoxy is more my cup of tea.

...Hopefully I will get to spend more time with my grandfather this summer and learn some of his metal-working secrets :)

Really nice pacifiquesea - I think number 8 is my favorite.

And you should see JS elven crowns - they're really pretty; I still have one in my bedroom which I 'forgot' to return. ;)

No need to return the crown Gray. It is yours for the keeping...You designed it...remember?

Unless of course you are hinting that you want me to finish soldering it and spray paint it a nice elven silver like I originally intended :)

Do you have any pics of your crowns online? I'd love to learn to work with metal, I know I could do it if someone was around to teach me.

Ya, thanks to Ithilianm who I looked over the shoulder of, and bugged her for a day to give me the URL...

I'm a bit obsessive...
