Okay, this is weird. Last night I had a dream about the film of Voyage of the Dawn Treader, when I woke up I was actually saying to myself outloud something about they couldn't have found a better person to play Eustace. The kid is no one I've seen, and I didn't dream his real name. But, he was perfect as Eustace. Kind off on the short side, quite geeky looking with a round face, brown hair, freckles and a voice like nails on a chalk board at first like truly haughty. Anyways, back on Earth...

Hmm...he should look slightly geeky, I think, a little kid with a face you know just makes you cringe, lol. But one that you will learn to love. I'm sure they'll find a good one for Eustace! :D

OK, heres how I see it; YOUR ALL NINNIES! :o Eustice will not be hot ok? It go's against the book and all things holy. . . so unless they Bollywood him up, he will NOT be hot. .
He'll prolly be some beanstalk of a boy with buckteeth and a sneer pasted to his face too tall for his age so he hunches. . But gradually his face'll losen up and he will be almost handsome but off in some way and he'll stand up to his full height. . ;)

Interesting. That sounds like Eustace...in the book he seems to have dark hair, freckles, glasses, and a sort of geeky look, but not too short. I can't picture him as a babe magnet though...just geeky, like a nerd.

I just happened to be reading the part of VDT that describes Eustaces's chatracter. The above quote comes close, but add to that a demanding, self-centered, 'spoiled rich kid who spends too much time reading books on socialism' personality.

I think Eustace starts out all nerdy as described by IM, but he starts to steadily improve after the dragon incident. It does not happen all at once or immediately, however, as stated in VDT.

By the time he comes back in SC, I think his overall appearance and demeanor would be much more pleasing to the eye - maybe even almost a babe magnet. The effect would then be further increased in TLB. That is, if you're into jailbait - which I am not.
