A member of the Inklings? Yep - sort of a sideline member, but a member nonetheless. He kept the "minutes", such as they were - that is, he made notations in his diary about the meetings, such as who was there, what they talked about, etc. Usually just a couple of lines.

There weren't really any formal boundaries to the Inklings - they were just an informal group who met on a semi-regular basis.

You kind of threw me with the question about "Warren" Lewis - everything I've ever seen called him "Warnie".

Agree with POTW: I had always heard him mentioned as "Warnie" not "Warren" I at first thought they were two different people.
