The Barmy Army is the gruop of Hardcore fans that travel wherever your teams are playing. No matter what the sport.

I am a massive rugger fan and have been since..ooh about 12 yrs ago..yes the warm up was a bit rubbish, but with Wilko back on from I think there may be an upping in the quality of match!
I sooo wish i could follow my wonderful ,tiny, boring country's teams around the world, but sadly I'm not a city banker with company linked sponsorship and pots of cash!
Lions still rule tho!

It had to happen once I suppose, we have been beaten- but I'm not really surprised- if there were 15 enormous Maori's running towards me, well truthfully I'd just get trampled into the dirt, there would be no fight in me at all, more smeered all over the pitch.

Yeh, but there apparently not as good as the All Blacks, so it doesnt really bode well!!! Wed be doing fine if it werent for all the Scots Irish and Welsh on the team!!!

ha ha, or maybe our fellow countrymen would say the same about the English?! I have a funny feeling that we're gonna get hammered by the All Blacks, hammered into the ground..!

Us Kiwis are guardedly optimistic - we really should win. That was probably the strongest Maori team ever put out on a paddock but even so it wasn't a real blow out. Public expectation here is huge for the AB's, just like it is every four years at the world cup - you'd think we'd learn by now!

All Blacks to win the series 2-1.

The Game I'm looking forward to the most is the Lions vs. Lions game tomorrow. Should be interesting.

Hopefully the Lions will give us a bit of a challenge. Fiji was very dissapointing. (esp. for my g/f since she was going for them lol)

Well its not really anything for us to worry about. Your playing our NPC teams without thier All Black/Star players and not doing as well as you should be doing. Next weekend is going to be when we find out how good the Lions really are.

Edit: And your currently being beaten by Otago 16-13 :p

Hey Monkeh - what do you think of the O'Driscoll player who supposedly disrespected the Haka. If he did, I think he was stupid for doing it cos its rude and unfair. However, the fact the All Black player gave him a really bad injury was also uncalled for...

Which one is O'Driscoll. I recognise the name. How was he injured?

Daniel Carter played an amazing game last night. 33 points. The street was packed when we watched the game. Nobody has given an actual count yet, but most radio stations are just saying there were 10's of Thousands there. It was amazing. The Atmosphere was awesome. We hung around for a while after the game. It was pumping. The lines for the Bars were huge. I took my Digital Video Camera with me, haven't check the pics or the footage I got yet though. I'll check it all out in the morning. I tried getting shots of the crowd and footage of the crowd cheering at the end of the game. If it all worked out, I'll put it online tomorrow.
