Tough call - so many of his books are masterpieces. Mine would have to be Till We Have Faces, though the Interplanetary Trilogy runs a very close second. His scholarly works are a different category, but all of them excellent, especially Mere Christianity.

I can't really vote b/c i like 7 of the books best. I have only read Narnia of all CSL's works.
My fave Narnia books are as follows:

(not-the-best-in-my-opinion-but-still-good to favourite!)
HBB

I can't vote either, too many good ones. I might say LWW or Mere Christianity ... those are two very good ones ... all I have read of his are good.

My favorite book of Narnia that C.S Lewis wrote is The Last Battle. It's such a beautiful picture of what heaven might be like! :)

I'm gonna have to go with MC, because it is one of the biggest reasons why I am a Christian, and I always find pretty much everything he says in there to ring so true with my experience. Also, I have to mention my favourite essay, "Is Theology Poetry?" from The Weight of Glory and other Addresses, from which I get the quote in my banner.

Til We Have Faces with Mere Christianity a close second. They both have had a profound impact on my faith.

I love C.S Lewis...As a kid I loves the Chron. of Narnia...
But now that I am older my taste in books have grown.
I love all of his books and it's not right to make me choose on the Poll.
SO I choose all of them!

All the ones besides CON are more adult in the language. Very good, but a more difficult read.

The Space Trilogy is science fiction, quite interesting, three books:
Out of the Silent Planet
Perelandra
That Hideous Strength

I quite enjoyed LLW, but I also enjoy all the other Narnia books. I have yet to read his other books.
