He'll definatly be too old by the time they get around to making it. That's the downfall to making the movies. The books go in and out of order so much that they won't be able to use the same actors. I don't even know if they'll still be able to use any of them... I mean, they all aren't supposed to be that much older... maybe I'm wrong and they'll retain a childlike look to them.

it will be tough since they are all getting older, but it would be aweful if they re-cast it just wouldn't be the same because everyone was so wonderful this time!!

i think that all of the members should be in TLB because as LadyofGreenKirtle said they aren't supposed to be that much older.

Maybe they could catch the picts in this moment, and they could mixed it later when the Last Battle is produced.
I couldn't imagine there's another actors to play King Peter as good as Will

i dunno if yall know this but the last battle is based 4 whole years after the silver chair! and if yall dont believe me, just go by the book the poket companion to narnia! it has all the ages of everyoone in the books and stuff! so in the last battle peter is actually 22-23ish i believe, and will will be much older, but i think they could/should still use him. i mean what would it be like if we saw a new peter in the last battle! it would be like this! <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ya know?

As long as Will doesn't look like a 40 year old, and can pass off as younger than he is I don't see why they shouldn't use him. I think it would be totally wrong to use somebody different! That would be aweful! Because...it wouldn't be Will, and since I happen to think Will did a terrific job it would be :eek::eek::eek:

I agree with reep! Of course William will be in TLB! No one else could be Peter! And besides, at the end he did look older, and nobler. The book talks about it. If they didn't get Will it would be    !!!!!!!

Yeah we'll probably be past 2010 or even further by the time they do all of them.

It could work..... since Peter's supposed to be like 9 years older anyway. Depends on how fast they can crank these movies out.

Yeah! Will MUST be in LB movie and nobody could be as "Peter" as Will

Of course they have to use Will! It would just be weird to have an entirely new actor as Peter; I wouldn't even like adult Peter at the end of LWW. He'll probably be just around the right age for a glorified High King. I think it could work. :)

Well, everyone will be older, and, in LB, Peter is supposed to be 22, and that is around the age that Will will b when (or if) they make the LB movie.
AGES IN LB:
Jill and Eustace: 16
Peter: 22
Lucy: 17
Edmund: 18
Digory: 61
Polly: 60
And since Susan is one year younger than Peter, we can determine that (though she is not in LB) that she would be 21.
So techniclly, even though they casted a 17 year old for the role of a 13 year old, it all works out in the end. :)

no one would like it. I mean Will is 100% Peter

If Will is available, he'll be about 29, playing a character who's 22-25. Not entirely out of the question... by then, he'll be in Aslan's country, and people thyere have no particular ages anyway. I say yes, he should be in it.

COME ON FOLKS, THINK! :D
You are forgetting that there are a couple of tools of the film maker's trade at work here that weren't around long ago.
The first is that either they had the kids record some likely dialog for the future films NOW so they could dub it in and mask older voices or...more likely...
Digital manipulation to increase or reduce pitch SLIGHTLY, just enough to do a compromise age between where they were and where they will be.
I don't mean something fake and hokey. I mean something you can't tell from the real thing.
I have software that allows me to take a stereo recording of my voice and "darken" it or raise it somewhat without changing the length of the recording. In fact, using a pitch expander, I can do a pretty convincing twin sister for myself. The trick is not to overdo it.
Oh and it also helps to have VERY good microphones too. Not plugging a cheap dynamic mike into your sound blaster, but putting a couple of stereo electrets into a mixer, and doing LINE OUT to your sound card's LINE IN for true high fidelity. And one last word of advice....good mikes are like good cameras. Good mikes don't automatically make you David Rose any more than good cameras automatically make you Ansel Adams. There is a trick to setting up a good environment and capturing good sound. For one thing, don't think with all the reverb in the world and darkening pitch shifts you can be Aslan if you get close to the mikes and talk softly. Imitating talking loudly without really doing it records way differently. You come out wimpy sounding. You have to do what Aslan does...stand back and SAAAAYYY it, LOUUUDDDLY. The recording will have entirely different characteristics because you won't record the "close by" things you do with your voice that make it sound wimpy when amplified and reverbed.

This is acctually a very good point, because in The Last Battle in the end Peter Edmund Lucy Eustace and Jill are all there, but older. By teh time they make The Last Battle the actors will probably be almost as old or as old or maybe slightly older than the characters. I would preffer that William be in the Last Battle, 1 because I love him and 2 he would know the part and 3 he would have the same facial features.

I know its so sad, PC isn't coming till '08!!!!! I'll be so old when they finish all of them *tears!*
I believe it's only fair to let the actors from the first movies be a part of the last one. Besides that, it wouldn't be the same without them. So yes, William Moseley should be in The Last Battle!

They'll make it work.... they would never think of changing actors. especially for the last film... that would make it even worse... the last battle is going to be like a goodbye to all those wonderful actors as our Narnia cast--they will be off to do bigger things....
ok I am getting depressed now. I better shut up.

Of course he should!
And i don`t think that he might be to old for it. I mean, in LWW he looks like a 13/14 year old boy but was still 17. He looks younger than he is (like me), so i think they can use him for the last Battle.

Very optimistic! No Depression, 'cause for all I know You'll start blubbering about it with me at school or something and then the next minutes I'm depressed too.
Lets be optimists about this:
Of course they will let him!!!
