Hi, welcome to the forum, I've glad you've joined! :)

Yes, I DEFINATELY think he should make all of them. That would be SO cool!!! If he doesn't... *sniff* that would be REALLY sad!

YES. Not only does he need to, but he should. I think that he is also stuck with the job. He set REALLY high standards with LWW that no one but himself will be able to reach those standards and go beyond them with the other movies. If he doesn't, I will be scared to go see the future movies. Also if he doesn't I'll probably cry

In my opinion, yuppers, he has a great sense of how Narnia and the characters should look. Go Adamson!

i think he should, and i hope he does, but hes not the only great director out there yall, i mean he rocked, but other directors could've done what he did! ya know?

Princey

Yes, but I think other directors would have had a different image of Narnia. Everyone imagines Narnia and it's characters differently when they read the books. So I doubt other directors would have chosen the same cast, but it is possible.

It is unlikely that anyone else will do it.

It has begun as the description of what Adamson's memories are from when he was an 8 yr old, and it wouldn't follow on in the same way if anyone else did.

With the HP movies they had different directors, and there was no continuity between them.

I hope he does them all, and if he doesn't do them all, I don't think anyone else should

I hope he directs all of them, because he made LWW so good. It would be sad if it ended up with the same thing as HP because I donīt like how everything is different from movie to movie.
It also would be fun if he acted as Puddleglum if they makes SC. Thatīs what they talked about in the movie companion.

Yea I really hope he would do all seven. That way all of them would have the same feel of LWW and more series-like. They've had different directors do the Harry Potter movies since the 3rd one, and well... it doesn't quite have the same flow as the first two do. And I don't want that to happen to the Chronicles of Narnia! Besides from what I can tell everyone had a blast working with Andrew and he did an amazing job with LWW.

So yes, OF COURSE!!!

I'll agree with that because a director has a certain style to how he makes his movies. Like with Peter Jackson doing the trilogy...I hope he also does the Hobbit. You get used to the chemistry between the director and the actors too...this makes a difference I think in how the movie turns out. So it would be great if Adamson does all of them.

He most definitely should..or it will ruin the films...like the Harry Potter films, each director had his own vision and style, which made the movies all different and it was almost like the link/series was broken b/c of it...so yeah, he shoulld MOST DEFINITELY do all :D

Yeah the HP was ruined with different directors. My favorite director for HP was Chris Columbus (1 & 2)

i hope he does em all
but if he dosent that would majorly suck
i think he did a great job
but it just wouldnt work if it were enyone else who did it
(lol andrew adamson's vision of narnia id
pretty much the same as mine)

I agree :) But that may be because I am always pulled more to the original... and since Chris Columbus did the first two, I got used to seeing HP portrayed that way and severely disliked it when it changed...

Anyways, back to Narnia, Andrew should do them all just to keep the flow the same. Plus, LWW was a major hit, so obviously his vision of Narnia is popular enough to keep making movies on.

I agree with everything, he did do a great job and all, but he took out and drastically changed where Edmund is rescued. I would have liked it to be exactly as it was in the book, and in a way, I'm almost afraid he's gonna change something I really like in one of the other books.

I chose yesnot because "he did great," (Even though he was good) but because films are messed up when they have several different actors. Like Harry Potter. All the directors have different views of what THEY want it to be like. Stick with one director till the end.

Well. I like his job very much. Even I thougt, I more like this film than HP (the film, not the stories). Because, Adamson, can make this bored stories to be more colourful and live, this isn't a fairy-tale anymore. Adamson make a good touch with LWW, and I think he will be make Caspian good to. I don't want another director for all Narnia film.

He would be make the all seven? I think he won't. Because, you can see, he started make Narnia series from LWW, not from MN, so maybe he would make the film that all or a part Peensie join the book. Like Caspian, Last Battle, etc. (If you understand what I mean, it's difficult to say what I mean in English)

I understand fully.
Don't worry about bad english. I can't even spell properly, and I've lived in england all my life.

The decision to start with LWW was made because LWW is the best known one.
Some people don't even know that there are any other stories in the series, but almost everyone knows about LWW.
They intend, if all the other films go well, to go back to MN and HHB.

Hope this helps.

Yes he should. When long series' change directors in the middle, the mood of the movie definatley changes. Andrew Adamson did such a great job in the first movie, and he has a really strong connection with the kids, so he should continue.

Its like if a book changed their editor. *coughHarryPotterBook6* <- they changed the editor for that book, and if felt different. They shouldn't change something like that unless their techniques are similar.

Oh, yes definately!! He was brilliant for this, I mean when I heard he directed Shrek I was a bit scepticle, cause just because he can make a funny movie dousn't mean he can make Narnia. But he turned out to be a good choice. He did rush along Peters becoming the Wolf-slayer dude, The wolf fell on his sword an suddenly he's a wolf-bane boy.

And strangely wolf bane is actually a real plant...it was said to turn men into werewolves, which is interesting.

Here's a quote, although this thread is going off topic from a werewolf folk lore book I have, which talks about a folk lore that said a man who touched or picked the unusual dark flowers off a wolf bane plant would turn into a wolf:

Even a man who is pure at heart
And says his prayers by night
Will become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms
And the autumn moon is bright.

Hmm, this is a tought one. I'm not sure how I feel. I like the some things about this one, but at the same time I think there was something missing. Its one of those things I can't put my finger on. Maybe it was his style, not sure really. I think it would be interesting to see someone else do one. Like, for some reason I wonder what would happen if M. Night Shymalan did Horse and His Boy. For some reason I could see him doing that. So its one of those things I think it would be cool if they got different Directors. I just dont' want him to get tired of it and be on a contract and not be satisfied with what he is doing.

Wasn't that in Van Helsing as well?

Originally from wikipedia
Wolfsbane has often been associated with the werewolf legend, although its uses vary from bringing on lycanthropy to banishing it.

So really, it depends on which film or book you look at as to whether you think it causes or prevents lycanthropy.

i don't think that was in van helsing...they had nothign with a flower in van helsing... you might be thinking of when van helsing fought dracula cause they said something about hte pure hearted and stuff there i think.

as for Andrew...he most definately should and i believe he is (well doing hte next 2 ones atleast), making the films all of them. he did LWW so well. He did pretty much everything in the book and expanded some of it. so i really don't see why he shouldn't do them and from what i heard the actors liked him a lot. they're better off staying with him too cause look at what happened to HP they kept changing directors and ruined the best of the series. you don't want them changing and winding up with a horrible one. especially for the last book (i considered that one the best)

Yeah, of course, I "pray" for it, I'm looking forward to see Prince Caspian... I heard if he does a goos job with that movie, he will be doing "The Voyage of the DAWN TREADER"... I hope he can do all of them, he's such a nice person, he's christian, he's a good director... I love Shrek and Shrek 2, he has imagination so Narnia is the same thing and I think he must to do it. Even The Last Battle too.

At the point where the monk sees the picture in the house with the doorway to CD's place, he reads the inscription which is carved into it.

I'm sure that is what it says

No, he should stick with doing all 5. But will he do the last battle? he better or all fans will be on a down side. M. Night (director of lady in the water, village, signs, unbreakable, and 6th sence.) should atleast help out with this film because he is good with creatures and get nick gillard for all the stunts because he is a master at all that stuff!!! And if I were directing this.. especialy LWW when i watched it there was SOOO much stuff that I could have changed to make it look so much more better! especially the fight scene and the stone table!

I believe he should do the next 3 then let another director direct the last 3 as it would be very interesting to see the difference in perspective of the world of Narnia by another director

It will just turn out like the Harry Potter series.
