Joking aside, I think Shasta sounds more like a child's name...where Cor sounds more regal. I think Lewis probably chose the names to achieve precisely that effect. Of course, it could all be in my head too.

He came out first so I got the better name. He gets the kingdom when dad kicks it, I get the cooler name and to fight bears. I think I made out alright.

LOL, yesterday I was drinking a can of soda and it said "Shasta" on it, I think that was the company's name who made the soda...I don't know for certain. I Like the name Cor much better.
