I don't think I have any evil cousins..they are all younger than me by like 9 years or older than my by 10...yeah...anyways my little couzin hannah is a wierdo tho...gosh and she never quits!

I have an evil neighbor who stole money from me! (it was only 5 bucks but still!) he also lied to his mother's face and said he didnt, at least i got my money back! (plus he is only 6 years old) he also stole 50 bucks from his mom! :eek:

Eustace is a good character but i wouldnt want to be realated to him ;)

i don't have very evil cousins,i do have a lot of'em,i do have a very mean cousin, he's done against many things against many family members, but he has a special thing against me an my other cousin,even though he started being extra mean to my cousin after they started living together, but he's ALWAYS had something against me,i think its because i was always the good boy of the family when he was the bad apple and everybody compared us to his disadvantage, which i always thougth was very mean. and he was very nice when we were little, but you should see him now, i'm trying to befriends with him, but it never works.

*empathizes but can't sympathize because I don't have any mean male cousins* :rolleyes: Sorry about that. I think it was so cool how his personality totally transformed when he became a dragon. And how he met Aslan was really sweet.

If you would llike this Thread to remain in VDT Forum, when you post about your evil cousin, be sure to relate it to Eustace and VDT somehow. For instance, I had evil little cousins who ransakced my luggage once when i was visiting them and tried on all my clothes and stole things from me ... but like Eustance, when they grew up a little, they turned out to be delightful young people.

Eustace may be a tick in the beginning, but he becomes a great hero at the end of VDT and in SC and TLB.

I know plenty of evil people, but they don't include my cousins. They're all funny and annoying, but not evil :p I have three boy cousins and four girl cousins.

I have so many cousins and 2nd-cousins i don't think i could count them all. But none of them are EVIL just that they can get annoying. Eustace is very annoying...but he's not a traitor as Edmund pointed out. And Eustace changes and becomes a great character.
I like the way C.S. Lewis made character that kinda portray us and then changed them to something we can be...ya know?

Agreed...Eustace isn't a "bad cousin" per se...he is rotten to start with as far as his behavior is concerned...but I wouldn't lable him as all bad (at least in the sense that that is all he would ever be). Maybe fallen would be better. He was like us. None of us are perfect and we all have our horribly rotten moments...even if some of them aren't as public as those seen in VDT's beginning. He's a flawed character...but aren't we all. We all need to be redeemed. We all need the Lord to teach us how and where we need to change. He needed some personal time with Aslan. Don't we all.

Cousins are just people, like brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, friends, classmates, and co-workers. They're like each of us...flawed, but in God's eyes worth his time and attention. Remember if you have a cousin, then you are one as well...and think of how they may lable you when you're not looking. We might not be as different from Eustace as we would like to think...hmmm?

Eustace is okay in the end of VotDT, I guess. the whole dragon thing really changed him a lot. However, I still am not very fond of him. I'm sorta of upset with Eustace and Jill for getting into Narnia instead of the Pevensies... It's a silly reason, I know

Basically, the time of the Pevensies coming to Narnia was over. Aslan told them they could not come back. They had to learn who He was in their own world (Jesus). I am sure that Aslan knew what he was doing bringing Eustice and Jill into Narnia. And, let's face it, Eustice was still related to the Pevensies. It was just their time and Aslan's choice.

Eustace was cool. Even though he was annoying at first, I found him absolutley HILARIOUS! I loved the bit when he grabbed Reepicheep's tail, and tried to swing him around. And I thought it was funny that he was winging all the time, and seeking attention. Not someone I would like to be around, but he is someone funny to laugh at.
