I think the following future films could be worth watching:
a. Charlote's web: The classic animated tale is brought to live action, CGI glory to be released in 2007.
b. The Transformers: The good o'l Autobots and Decepticons are at it again on the upcoming live action film also scheduled for next year.
That's just of the top of my mind.. Feel free to add others and comment about the ones already posted.

Warriors of the virtue is also great. I don't know if anybody has seen this movie. And classical ones as Neverending story and Krull of course. They are timeless.

LOL, I'm always hoping for like a sequel to Serenity, that was awesome. I'm not sure what else is coming besides Eragon, but I don't know anything about that so don't know if i should be excited about that. I really just want a groundbreaking new sci-fi to come out, fantasy is great as well, but thats just has to be based off a book for it to start off in a solid way.

Another good one is Equilibrium. Its a pretty good sci-fi with the traditional sci-fi theme of totalitarianism. V for Vendetta is pretty good too!

Oh! I wish I could say Equilibrium II but there isn't one...yet...

A movie to definately stay away from is Ultraviolet (in theatres currrently). It is a disaster! It is a huge rip-off from said Equilibrium: containing similar poses, similar scenes, similar dialogues, but not the similar entertainment. It was disappointing when I discovered it was by the same director!

The story line is a disaster, the action is okay, the cinematography is nicely futuristic. Still, it is not the greatest sci-fi movie you could see unless you're desperate.

Thats because of the Distribution company. They ripped half the story out of the final movie. There are two copies of the movie. The Final Release. and the Finished Production Copy, which they will hopefully release as a directors cut on DVD. There was a post on a forum somewhere on the net(Can't remember where) that listed all the differences between the two.

oopsies, well in that case I am soo excited for Eragon and Pirates of the Carribean 2. I hear Peter Jackson is working on Halo, that is gonna be awsome.

Yes, but alas it is so popular they are going to make a major motion picture based on the Master Chief. He is the main character that all of us guys and gals play as.

I just remembered a movie that has struggled to be made, and it does have a director at the helm, but he keeps finding setbacks for it, but the movie is Ender's Game. I've always dreamed that this would be made. I think that if done right and with the right people, it could be just amazing.

Hmmmm, the star wars series george lucas is making for abc! I can`t wait for that! Have you guys heard that Jurassic Park 4 is being made! So is the last indeana jones (at least it might come out) with harrison ford! The only set back with IJ, is that Harrassin Ford kinda dosn`t wanna do it(Becuase he thinks he looks way to old for the part). :(

Actually, Harrison Ford himself has said a number of times that he can't wait to do the part, the hold up for the last few years has been the fact that Spielberg and Lucas can't agree on a script for the movie. Though there are rumors that they have finally agreed on one.
