Spoken as someone who doesn't live with alot of boys; you can indeed brush your teeth with duct tape...it just doesn't work very well, and can rip your lips when you pull it off.

Duct take is also very useful for making scabords and sheathes for swords-granted that you make sure not to leave the sticky end on your blade. ;)

Actually duct tape makes a very good self-defence weapon. If you double side it and roll it over several times, you have a very crude but effective club.
I also use it to cover my mini-maglite so that when I sweat it won't slip.

as a true canadian i believe that a handy man's secret weapon is duct tape. u can use it anywhere from taping that showerhead on ur BBQ or fixing that gas leak that is scaring ur neighbours so much

My main use for duct tape is to either cover things up in it, like my backpack, wallet, etc.
Or i use it to patch holes in my DDR pad. But i get the white kind, so you barely noitice that there is a hole in it. Ahhhh, the great uses for duct tape!

No it is not the same as masking tape. Duct tape is bout 10 times better. And most of the time it is gray.

Alright, another use for duct tape (true story)

I was Visiting my 13 year old sister and we were driving down the highway when she had an Idea. Turning to me, she said, "Tie my hands together with Duct tape." I found some, and I proceeded to do so... she then told me to write a sign that said "HELP!" In big Black letters. I did so... and then I taped her mouth... We spent the rest of the trip causing strange glances as she leaned out of the window waving her sign at the other cars...

The funniest part was that when we got home, she discovered that her hands were taped on opposite sides of the seatbelt and she couldn't untape her hands because of how tight the tape was... I snapped a few pictures and set her free...

I am a proud marching band member, but we go to a really small, poor school, so our uniforms are very old. Anyway, about five minutes before our halftime show, one of the flute player's pant legs ripped all the way down the seam. So one of the band moms (that's a band geek's over-involved mother, for those of you who are band illiterate) took the girl to the bathroom and helped her to put duct tape all along the inner part of her pants. It actually held up (and it was pouring to beat the band. Yes, pun intended) for the rest of the game. Duct tape is also a great way to fix instuments. (That's why we had it in the first place--it was holding together two of our three saxaphones.)

Duct tape is ESPECIALLY useful in taping the edges of your band folder so that it doesn't get trashed. Duct Tape's also good to tape together a broken kickboard in swimming. :D
