That isn't a dumb question...if we have faves why not least favorites? I think my least favorite would be Mrs. MacCready in the movie, just because she reminded me of an old teacher I had who annoyed me as a kid.

I'd forgoten about her.
I liked the way she was played.
Expecially when she told Susan off.

I suppose it deppends on what you mean by "Least Favourite"
Do you mean the character who's performance we were least pleased with, or do you mean the character whom we thought was least nice?

I don't have a least favorite in the movie, but I have to agree that I didn't like MacCready as a character, she seemed totally opposite of the Professor, and although the contrast was effective, her overall role was just 'unsympathtic' to the plight of the children.

in the movie, mrs. macgready was mean, but in the series, my least favorite character is Eustace in the Dawn Treader. he gets on my nerves, but i like him in the following books.

I think Susan is alright, after all, I scored her on the quiz, but I don't really like her because she ends up "No longer a friend of Narnia" in the Last Battle... I always knew she was going to fall away.

She's just grown up too quickley.
She still has time to redeem herself though.

yes, but he redeems himself. He's a great role model for evil kids, and so is Eustace.

Yes. I agree Edmund is a large character in the film and I think he makes it much more interesting. I would have to say my least favorite character like the rest of you would be Mrs. MacCredy. She is very stiff and uncaring toward the Pevensie children and she isn`t in the movie that much at all.

Haha. He was my second least favorite character, but he wasn't evil...just self-centered and shallow. Still, at least he was able to make up for it when he was taught a serious lesson by being turned into that dragon. He continued to make some mistakes after that, but he was pretty much a changed person.

Well,I like almost every character in the movie, but there is one,no two I can't stand: Mrs MacReady (she reminds me of a teacher at school *shudders*) and Ginnarbrik (sp?),the dwarf.Except from that...I think I like everyone :)

I adore Edmund. He completely turns around and regrets the mistakes he has made and the people he has hurt. Everyone makes mistakes and Edmund to me seems one of the more believable characters in the book.
My least favorite character was the White Witch, even though she was pretty cool...literally.
*Spoiler*
I was also really sad about what happened to Susan in the LB. She was one of my favorite characters. I think that there was still hope for her though. At the end of the LB she was still young and had just lost her entire family. I think that in the end she will once again become a "friend of Narnia." It also says repeatedly in the books "Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen of Narnia."

It's hard to choose one character that i hated.....
Either the White Witch or Mrs. Macready (too much like my old school teacher).
In the books i didn't like Uncle Andrew from Magician's Nephew...

She chose to be stupid before she lost her family. And I think that's referring to as Christians once we accept Christ There's no turning back.

psst, LWW movie ;)
Hm, i'd have to say... hmm... I didn't really like Peter, i've never really liked Peter, and i thought that he wasn't portrayed very well (and all the OEH, AH, screaming during the fighting didn't exactly make me like him more:D)... And of course Mrs. Macready isn't a nice character, but i thought she was portrayed excellent.

Hm, probably Jadis and Ginarrbrik. Although Tilda acted the part of Jadis amazingly and believably well. Ginarrbrik was just annoying, though I felt rather sorry for him when he got all tied up and was worried Jadis would kill him.

I know that she was stupid before she lost her family, but I think by losing them she will take another look at her life and change her ways. And I think that she still did have time to change. She was not yet dead and as Lewis showed with Edmund, even sinners can change and get back onto the right path. I think if Susan had died with her family her salvation would not be possible. But as it is she still has time to change.

Bookwise, Edmund.

Susan. Blah, I hated her. I laughed so loud when Susan says "I'm being realistic" and Peter says "No, you're being smart." It was a little rude, but true enough.

Sort of unoriginal of me, I supposed, but I don't like Jadis/The White Witch. She is freakily evil and if "least favorite" means "the one I would least want to meet in real life," she would definitely be it.
Especially because I've read Magician's Nephew... that book really made me hate her, because not only is she evil, but she acts like a spoiled brat that always gets her own way.

As a character, I think my least favourite in LWW is Jadis' dwarf sidekick/servant. He's mean, violent, and pretty useless -- although I'll grant that he's good at stating the obvious.
Jadis is a good villain, if you understand me: she's interesting and frightening. I wouldn't like to meet her, but you couldn't have the book or movie without her. The dwarf, though, could probably be left out without much trouble. I don't think he even has a name (in the book, at least).

Oh my gosh...that was the funniest thing I have heard today :D I seriously laughed out loud:D
I would have to say my least favorite character was Edmund. Now I really like Edmunds character at the end when his character finally develops...but in the beginning I thought he was so negative and mean towards the others. So once he kind of "grew-up" I guess you could say, I really liked his character (I really liked him in PC) .

Normally I like the bad ones like Jadis, Witch-King etc. I won't choose them as the least favorite character. Their side-kicks are more the annoying ones to me.
My least favorite character out of the CoN is Shift, the monkey. He is annoying, mean, irritating and not funny at all.

I would have to say Mr Ketterley (Digory's Uncle Andrew). Jadis and the Queen of Underland and others like them are villains by nature (to put it this way), but Uncle Andrew had the power to choose between good and evil. He rejected Aslan and chose to become bad.
Even Aslan says about him: "But I cannot tell that to this old sinner, and I cannot comfort him either; he has made himself unable to hear my voice. If I spoke to him, he would hear only growlings and roarings. Oh Adam's sons, how cleverly you defend yourselves against all that might do you good!"
