Let's remember what Aslan said when he was not "Lion Around....":

*gags convulsively* I swear Chakal I think my dream is to have as sad a sense of humor as you do once I'm older than dirt.

Just remember, becoming as old as me someday beats the alternative.... :)

I can't remember the last time anyone slighted me so meanly. Really, I can't. No recollection at all. Would you please repeat the question? :D

I already said. He's older than dirt, just slightly older than POTW. Sorry Chakal, but I couldn't resist. And what's the alternative to being as old as dirt? Being as old as rock?

I am 46 years old. Old enough to remember reading Tolkein's obituary. Three years old when C.S. Lewis died. I actually did work on computers that had teletype terminals rather than video screens. I have programmed on punch cards and recorded black and white video on open reel tape. I remember Neil Armstrong's landing on the moon and recording music on 8-track cartridges. When I was born there were countries like Belgian Congo, Rhodesia and East Pakistan. People said things like "Groovy" and "Like, wow, man." The Beatles had a brief fling at Saturday Morning Cartoons. Scooby Doo made his first appearance. The original Jetsons and Flintstones were still being produced.

Hey - I'm older than the Magister, which makes me dirt's grandfather. I, too, remember the moon landing and computer punch cards. I also remember when they first started aggressively marketing color television broadcasts, and when the Andy Griffith Show was still in production. I was born during the Eisenhower presidency, a mere 12 years after WWII ended. I remember Watergate, Vietnam, and the Summer of Love (though I was a little young to participate). I also remember seeing Dick Clark doing pretty much what he's doing today.

*sighs* Sounds awesome. I would have loved to have seen The Beatles live.

ES: You call yourself old? My mom and dad are both older than you are! Dad is 53 and mom is 51, and I'm only 18! :p

What does this have to do with C&C?

I actually think that remembering everything is actually pretty lucky. I wouldn't mind to remember some stuff because I have the worst memory ever! But it's annoying if you brag about it.

I think it's awesome having an older person on this message board. You're not old either. I consider being old when you're in your 70's. You're as young as you feel. :)

At first I was freaked out (because there were older ppl on the forums) but I guess it's good, because they keep an eye on us. :P
