Hello...wow this is great at 24 I thought I was the only one that still loved this stuff. Okay I know that sound hilarious. But always I kid at heart, right? I hope you all know how happy I am to find this site! I am a stylist that works in a city and you all would be suprised to find out how many people never read the chronicles as a kid. Bit suprised to find out they are making main stream movies about them but did anyone else see the BBC version of the Lion,Witch and the Wardrobe when they were kids? I know I did fifth grade anyone???? Okay sorry for rambling but I am so happy to have found my people! Here's the real question.... I need awesome illistrations of the first printing or close for a tattoo artist friend of my mine to do a tattoo of me. Not everyone is for tattoos I know this but please help if you can if you know any good sites!!!!!Kisses Hannah

Hey hannah! Welcome to the site. I'm the creator and I'm also 24. I've got many friends that are very excited for these movies. I've also seen the BBC versions when I was a kid.

My family owns the BBC versions, but I think that we saw a cartoon version when I was little. I have this picture in my head..... Anyway, the BBC ones are really cheesy in this generation (especially the witch/worm in Silver Chair), but I love them anyway, because they are so true to the books. When I first heard that they were going to make movies, my sister and I were THRILLED!!!! I hope they do a good job and follow the books.

Indeed, it would be a great dissapointment if they did not follow the books well in the upcoming movies. But even if they do (which i believe that they said that they would not) mess up the movie by not following the books, I personally do believe that the movies will still do very well. Look at Lord of the Rings, for instance. The movies did not follow the books very well, in my humble opinion, but the movies by themselves were still superbly phenomenal. On http://www.narniaweb.com , it is stated that the movie makers plan on following the books very closely. And if my memory serves me well, one of the people working on the movie is the nephew or otherwise close relative of C. S. Lewis himself.

Well, I don't know about first printings, but I just got the new illustrated collectors edition boxed set for Christmas, and there are tons and tons of pictures to choose from in these. You could go to a bookstore and look through them and just buy the one that has the picture(s) you want, or you could go to a library and look for illustrated editions. That's about all I can think of. Or check eBay, of course.

Not sure why she even put me in there, all i did was show them some love and i didn't go to far in my mind, but whatever.

Oh, dear a little confusion has occurred it would seem. I like my various hand bags and there usually too full of stuff- purse, keys, phone, cigs etc, so sadly Teeg, there would be no room for you, which I why I must resort to smacking you over the head with it for presumptious.
