Any DUNE Fans?

Hey, this is a long shot but has anyone else ever even heard of Dune? I really like it...the first three books atleast, after that it gets a bit weird. I also like the mini-series, it is really neat, I like Children of Dune the best though. So...anyone else heard of Dune by Frank Herburt?

I personally did not read the books buyt saw the theatrical released movie of the 1980s sady the FX were not that good and they romanticed the story a bit too much.
The miniseries from the SciFi channel Dune was far more detailed and had better visual FX.
But my favorite one was it's sequel Children of Dune!
They really outdid themselves with that one... :D

The mini-series were great but the old movie was really disappointing. I really, really love the novels. Dragon_Rider_of_Narnia, if you're a fan of sci-fi you will, most assuredly, love these novels!
