I LOVE STAR WARS, don't get me wrong. I'm jsut interesting in which movie ya'll think was the worst. Personally, I would say ATTACKS OF THE CLONES all the way.
I rather like ALL of the other movies, the only thing I really like about ATOC is Padme's purty dresses and the music, tehehe.

What about you?

I Hated Phantom menace. Was such a let down for me. I went to the Midnight Screening for it. Because it was such a let down, I never even saw Attack of the Clones at the movies. Didn't see it until about 2 months after it came out on DVD.

I'm with you, Monkeh, although i didn't go to opening night. Jar Jar Binks completely ruined it for me, because Lucas made it into a kids' movie ...oh well, at least it got significantly better from there.

I totally agree with you. Attack of the Clones stilted, not remotely moving, romantic story alone assure's it's victory. And the sad, cliched, dialouge that the superb Christopher Lee had to work with gives it even more of an advantage over the rather dumb "Phantom Menace" (Sorry QA48, Jar-Jar WAS that bad, in my opinion). I mean Lucas has this legendary, let me say it again, LEGENDARY!!! great actor on his movie in Christopher Lee, and what does he do, he gives him almost exactly the same character he did in Lord of the Rings, except Saruman was like 100% more interesting and scary.

Seriously, whenever he looks down at all the jedi in the arena, surrounded by his thousands of orc....I mean "battle droids", (Fruedian slip there..) my sister and I always expect him to say :"A new power is rising!" :D Yeah, sad, sad script work there Lucas. And add to it that no matter how much Padme and Anakin liked each other, there was NO WAY I was ever gonna root for them to get together after he slaughtered the Tusken village. And how annoying, pushy, lustful, selfish, and controlling he was with her before he slaughtered the Tuskens already put me far from wishing that they would ever get together. In fact, it made me consider how much better a match she and Obi-Wan would make. The only likeable parts of that movie in my opinion are as follows:
1. Yoda whuppin Count Dooku.
2. R2 saves the day again. (But that hardly counts since it's in every movie. R2 rocks my galaxy.)
3. The sad part where Anakin's mother dies (And may I add that this scene is the only part of Attack of the Clones where Hayden Christensen shows any kind of acting ability?)
4. The cool blue things that explode silently in space and chase Obi-Wan

The other stuff I hate about the movie I could go on for days about. Like Mace Windu's stupid "This party's over" line, (The man must have some incredible acting talent to say that with a straight face, either that or it was digitized, like everything else in the movies...) Yoda going from being a puppet to digital, meaning Not-alive-anymore Yoda, The NAME of the movie.... (Someone needs to reign in Lucas occassionally) I think I'll stop my rant here before I really offend someone. Sorry if any of this does offend you. It's only my opinion, and some jokes. I really love Star Wars, but definitely NOT this movie.

the phantom menace is definitely worse. first jar jar then that annoying brat of a little anakin. that kid made hayden look like an optimist and a good actor. But if anyone calls one of the original three a bad movie I will hunt you down and blast you faster than Han Solo can send the Millenium Falcon into hyperspace on a good day. Especially Empire Strikes Back. that movie is a classic and should be memorized and its lines used in everyday conversation.

I must say I absolutely hate Episodes 1 and 2 with a passion. and strangely enough I love Revenge of the Sith. I saw it in theaters two maybe three times. it made me cry but a lot of movies tend to do that to me. but episode two was absolutely horrible. I can't find anything good about it! or PM!!! don't get me started.

I agree with onlymystory. The originals were terrific.
I like the phantom menace only cuz of the duel of the fates. i learned that on the piano. gosh its harder then i thought. 2 i only like the battle of duko and Yoda. That was the only good part.

I chose Episode 2 because it was more of a love story and it's like 'Come on, where's the ACTION?' But I dunno, that's what I think.

yeah i didn't like the phantom menace to much the only part i liked was the fight scene at the end which has to be one of the best fight scenes for star wars and why did maul die?? anyways episode 2 was a love story and shows not much of the clone wars we had to see the cartoons of it and the dull lines like anakin, "Its all obi-wan's fault! He's holding me Back!" , "But the women and the children to". episode 3 finally made progress and the original trillogys no one can say anything cuz they are good i mean before lucas changed them up. and now we wait till 2008 to see what lucas pulls off for his live actoin TV shows and episode 4 in 3-D and then the next yrs the other episodes in 3-D.

If I were to list them from worst to best, it would be, The Phantom Menace, Return of the Jedi, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, The New Hope, and last and best The Empire Strikes Back.

aw you got to put ROTJ as 2nd worst that was good but yeah ESB was good. I were to list them ... from worst to best, AOTC , TPM , ANH , ROTS , ESB , ROTJ

It was a choice between TPM and AOTC.... but I finally picked TPM because it has the most Jar Jar Binks...

I can't blame TPM that much: I got me hooked on Star Wars. ATOC was pretty terrible though; the love story was sappy, the action was terrible, the dialogue was script, Anakin was infantile.

Return of the Jedi was just not a good way for Lucus to deal with how Luke saved his Father. The Ewoks, the second Death Star, all a waste of time. How Anikin loses his soul is much more clear than how he finds himself again at the end.

I like all of the Star Wars movies. I can't vote which is the worst because they are all good (I wish Jar-Jar was less annoying though). Phantom Menace isn't so popular with teens because there isn't much "fighting".

I love all the starwars movies but the one I enjoy the least is a new hope. That's not to say it's not great.

I've only seen the old Star Wars, but reading the script from Episode I, and seeing some of the trailers and clips of it, I'd say it kind of looks boring.
