The Order of the Can (Do not delete!)

It is time, fellow Duffers, to unite. The Skanderites and Willianites (Llamaites, Badgerites, Cannanites, Jesuits, and dust mites) have consolidated, and conspire to overthrow the Duffers ( ;) ); if we sit and do nothing, we shall be overthrown. It is for this reason that I wish to found the Order of the Can. The Brotherhood of the Can has been mentioned before, in passing; but no real effort has been made to make it an Order.

Therefore, I wish hereby to make 'Knight of the Order of the Can' an official title; the highest order of Duffers. The Brotherhood is for those who make a few dufferish comments now and again...and, occasionally, a true Dufferly post. Anyone who wishes it may become one of the "Can Clan". (An invention of HB's, somewhere in the distant past.)

All who hope to achieve the title of 'Knight of the Order of the Can', must first be one of the Brotherhood; save two, whom I shall elevate at once to the position of Knight, if they raise no objection. These two are, namely, Holyboy666 and Chakal. There are others, I am sure, who are also worthy to be placed there at once; unfortunately, their names escape me at the present time.

Those who wish to become one of the Brotherhood must first read the supplied Duffer training resources, which will educate you on the History of Duffers, and the Method(s) of duffering. Then you may PM me with your request, along with links to, or quotes of, a few of your posts that you think worthy of a duffer. I will judge as best I may; perhaps with the help of a few fellow Duffers, whether you are truly a Duffer. If you are rejected, do not be upset; simply study these rules and examples of Duffering, and you will soon learn.

*interrupts looking confused* excuse me, can anyone tell me where to find my true love? its a shiny silver trash can, a little shorter than our most noble trash can that we serve. This one is his fourth cousin, thrice removed by marriage. I fell in love years ago and I can't find him anymore. I keep looking but all I can find are dumbsters and rubbish bins. its just not the same.

I believe I know where he is. I'm sorry that I'm the one to tell you this OMS, but Your Trash Can love is in jail. In Mexico to be exact.
You see, soon after you fell in love with it, it was kidnapped by a bad tempered garbage truck. In haste to get back to you, it stole the presidents car and was sent to a junk yard just out side of Jiffylupawachoka island, Mississippi where it got into a rough crowd of trash can gangs. These trash can gangs terrorized the many junk yard dogs and, from time to time, sold rotton eggs and milk cartons on the Black Market. The day they were caught, your trash can love, still being love sick for you, atacked the garbage truck police and bit off a few of their ears. Alas, he was quickly sent to mi Juan Jose's Mexican Prison where he has been ever since. His room mates name is Poncho Libre, and he likes to consider himself your can's girlfriend, occasionally feeding him Salsa and peanutbutter.

Oh thank you IOWW! That explains the breaking news story I heard this morning. Apparently this Poncho Libre has a brother, Nacho Libre, who is a wrestler and was in need of his brother to come cheer for him. So they staged a break in and apparently the guards were in shock because they caught everyone except Poncho and my beloved can. They have been keeping this low key though as the embarrasment over losing a member of the trash can gang is high right now. Last I heard they were fleeing to South America but I'm not sure. I do hope if my love gets there that he tries out the snowboarding. I've heard the Andes are simply wonderful for snowboarding opportunities.

I don't believe any of your other memberships will be incompatable with being a Duffer...If somebody starts an anti-Duffer group, then you couldn't be a member of both, though! :p However, if you go ahead and do the PM'ing thing, it makes it easier for me, cause then I don't have to go through all your old posts to see if you're a Duffer. :D

IOWW, you finally made it to duffer status huh? Good then start helping me find my true love. Last I heard he was making a dash for Sweden. I thought maybe he's show up for the world cup games (he's a secret fan of France, don't ask me to understand that because its changing once we're together) but I haven't seen him yet. I did see some very cute waste bins but they just aren't the same and then this bird came flying in and distracted my vision so I saw a giant tennis player standing in the corner screaming something about fries and Wimbledon and I tried to ignore her but she kept screaming and I kept trying to put my hands over my ears but a elf kept flying around and pulling on them to make them pointed but of course it didn't work because lets face it I'm a human and my ears just don't point as well but I do have a little bit of fairy blood in me so I think it might work someday but for now I would have to work on blinking and turning my hair colors but then someone else said that if you can change your hair color it makes it very difficult to clean house and you have to actually use cleaning products and something called elbow grease and naturally I have no idea what elbow grease even is. I tried to find some once but people look at you funny when you touch their elbows and elephants are just so wrinkly that the grease is very contaminated so I just never tried it but even more than wanting blue hair to impress my trash can love I don't want to have to clean with much effort so basically I need my trash can back so I can eat pickled porkchops all day.

Ah, I see. Well, from the way I see it, perhaps we should call on Kenny the Klepto. He's very good at finding things, and he never leaves without something. I'm a good friend of his, we used to play capture the flag and he always seemed to win, btu anywho, he lives in Sweeden so I'm sure we could work somehting out. However, he likes to be paid in elbow grease, which could be a problem considering you don't know what it is, and neither do I. And He prefers Elbow grease that has been non-elephantized, and rather monkeytized. However to find a monkey with elbow grease you have to fly to Nazibianaflkambikina and find the sacared grease Monkey of Philipomito. Or we can go on EBay...either way.

Fred the Box came back to life?!?!?!?!?!?! Eek!! I'm so excited because now I can see the tree leaves freezing in the sun but now the mob is after me and well I guess I'll have to just eat peanut butter and bananas for a while, oh wait that's the monkey's food well whatever, it tastes really good almost as good as mint milanos and dr. pepper although really dr. pepper is better out of the glass bottle but you can only get that if you go to Texas because the rest of the world gets the cheap can brand and what is with the new label about 23 flavors I mean seriously. So yeah the remote control's on tv's are seriously a pain in the butt and they don't work all that well because I keep pressing the buttons but I can't find a way to make the cute guy jump out of the tv and tell me he loves me but maybe i don't have enough pennies because pennies are cool and with pennies you can buy mr. freeze popsicle sticks and enjoy sugary treats during class instead of listening to your teacher who teaches writing but doesn't really read much which kind of defeats the purpose although he's very good at reading ibuprofen bottles which is actually a lot easier than it sounds like it is but you know so are a lot of things, like swimming with sharks because that's not really a difficult concept, anyone can swim with sharks its just that its hard sometimes to make it out alive but if you do then you can eat pizza in the rainforest and its usually free because it takes so long to get it to you so that whole 30 minutes or less rule totally goes into effect so its free and you don't have to dig through the couch for change and you can just flip through random recipe books for how to cook duckbill platypus and...
