~~~OBSERVE AN ON-TOPIC POST~~~
In my opinion, Georgie was the star of the film. She is the main character in the book and if her character wasn't convincing and adorable as Lucy, then to me the movie just wouldn't work. Fortunately, they chose the perfect person to play the part, and Georgie was extremely convincing, especially considering how much computer generated special effects they used. Basically, I was extremely happy with Georgie's performance, and I thought she deserved some individual film awards for her excellence.
One scene in particular stands out in my mind: the scene when she first enters into narnia and there are several minutes where it is just her and her reactions to the magic of narnia, the snow, the lampost, etc. I thought she was simply adorable in that scene.
Yeah! Ahhhhh....I love that scene too. That was the first time she had ever been on the "Lantern waste" set. Andrew Adamson wanted to gain a real sense of wonder from Georgie's face in that scene. Hey...it paid off!
Georgie made an outstanding Lucy, portraying her sweet, innocent personality and her wonder at discovering Narnia! Five stars for an excellent performance!! :)
I thought that Georgie gave a convincing and outstanding performance as Lucy. I just came from seeing the movie for the fourth time, and each time it get's better than the last, due in no small part to Georgie. Lucy was my fav character in the books, and I am so glad that they found Georgie to play her!
Indeed, Lucy is not as easy a role to play as one would think. She has to have an innocence and sweetness about her, it's true. And she has to utterly convince the viewer of her delight and amazement at what she sees as she enters Narnia. And at the same time, she has to present enough personality, enough humanity, to avoid seeming cloying or (as Georgie herself said) a "goody-goody". Georgie handled this very well: she was good, but remained completely likable.
In the next movie, her part will be a bit more complex. In "Lion", most of the moral "stumbling" is done by Edmund, with Susan a distant second. But in both "Caspian" and "Dawn Treader", Lucy has a couple of slips of her own. And yet at the same time, she has to remain the sort of person who would be one of Aslan's favorites, if indeed he has them. However, I have no doubt that young Miss Henley is equal to the task.
I agree Georgie did an excellent job playing Lucy, she was exactly what the director was looking for, I can sure say the Lucy we see with Georgie is very the same Lucy written on the script.
She is the most important and lovable character in the movie, i cried a few times in some scenes, those emotional scenes only Georgie can do them perfectly.
One thing that makes Georgie such a fine actress is her exceptional sense of empathy with others. In scenes where James McAvoy, with whom Georgie was reportedly quite close, had to act sad or frightened, it was really tough for her because she picked up on it. Also, she had an incredible ability to lose herself in the part she was playing, to turn acting into real emotion. It could be hard on her sometimes, but it made her very convincing.
I totally agree with all of you! She was perfectly stupendous! I enjoyed her so much becuase of her innocent honesty, she didn't have one bit of artificialness, or that "I'm a movie star now! I don't have to act good! I just have to be pretty!" Kind of acttitude.
Did you guys know that she's young Jane Eyre in the BBC version that comes out December 2006? Or at least I think that's when it comes out, don't rely on it. :p Well, with all that said, i truly hope Georgie will stay as awesome as she is now!
Much in agreement with everything that has been said.
It was obvious that Georgie wasn't just "acting" - she was immersed in her character. Any scene that featured her was magical, and she did squeeze tears out of me once - when she quaveringly told a weeping, confessing Tumnus, "I thought you were my friend."
Best. Line. Delivery. Ever. At least from an eight-year-old. Dakota Fanning, eat your heart out.
Georgie. Brilliant. Even my friends who hated Narnia had to admit she was easily a brilliant actor and in a far more pleasing way than Dakota Fanning or Hayley Joel Osment.
I think the fact she was encouraged to produce real emotion helped (most actors don't get that luxary) and I'm sure she'd love to see a thread like this (whereas Skandar and Will would run a mile, screaming all the way).
After seeing the movie several more times, I was even more impressed by Georgie's depiction of Lucy Pevensie. It would have been easy for Lucy's character to be kind of a "goody-goody", as Georgie herself says, but she managed to infuse her with just enough attitude and mischievousness that you really don't get any of that. The other kids do a very satisfactory job of bringing their characters to life (the Edmund-Peter dynamic was especially well-thought-out), but Lucy's something special.
Two of the movie's most powerful moments are the moment of Aslan's death, and the way that Lucy is looking into his eyes when it happens, and the scene a little later in the courtyard. Admittedly, a lot of the former scene's appeal lies in its direction, and the CGI, but Georgie certainly contributed as well. I think, however, that her best moment is the scene in the courtyard, when she sees the statue of Mr. Tumnus: the way her face goes from concern to slowly growing comprehension to pure anguish is just incredible. It still affects me, even when I know that in five seconds, Aslan's going to restore him to life.
She's a very talented little girl and she's also the funniest cast member! :p
It was so hilarious the way she was dancing to "Check the gate" in front of everyone! She was so hyper.
I thought Jane Eyre was a movie. Will it air in America?
So you really think Georgie does write back?
I'm debating on whether or not I should type the letter or hand write it.
I might get a response if I hand write it out.
Hmm...I'm sad. I want to meet her.
I'm also sure Jane Eyre will show where you live, I think what I read it is a mini series!
She is the cutest hing ever! She is really a great little actress too...it's so nuts the way she got chosen to play Lucy but I am glad she got the part. The BBC lucy just didn't cut it.
The BBC Lucy was a good actress, though. But she was as big as Susan!
And she wasn't small or cute like Georgie.
Here are the reasons I like Georgie. Like everyone else said, including the director, she showed empathy on screen, even for the CG characters like Aslan. It's so funny because I didn't cry when Aslan got killed, but when I saw Georgie start to cry, I started to cry because her emotion was so real. It's hard to believe that they had trouble making her cry during that scene because it was so convincing. :)
I also got a little teary-eyed when she was crying over Mr. Tumnus' stony body. Mainly because that time her tears were real. They didn't have any trouble making her cry in that scene because she knew James so well.
A lot of the things you see on camera of Georgie is real, like the scene where she and Anna were splashing each other, the director told her it was only a practice. Since she thought it was just a practice, she did her little evil laugh. That was cute. :p
Georgie has this certain quality in her that made her perfect for the part of Lucy. I liked how she added her own special touch to Lucy's character to make her more likeable. Georgie is on her way to becoming a real star!
Kate12whisper13
04-20-2006, 03:35 AM
She has all the qualaties to become a star!
04-20-2006, 03:40 AM
One thing that I've observed about Georgie is that, while she's not ugly by any means, she's far less cute in photographs than she is on the screen. Rather than her looks, her real appeal is in her personality, her energy, her alive-ness. Especially the scenes where she's delighted or excited by something and her little face just lights up. That's actually a trait shared by the real Lucy: even though (in "Dawn Treader") she never casts the spell to make herself ultra-beautiful, there's a moment, when she sees Aslan enter the room, when she's nearly as beautiful as she would have been... I expect it was accidental, but still a nice coincidence.
I love the audio commentary to LWW. And that's where I found out that Georgie's older sister is in the movie, as older Lucy. When I first found out, I was amazed. I bet it wasn't hard for Andrew to wonder who was going to play the older Lucy. :)
Georgie is sooooo hilarious in the audio commentary! I liked it when she was being random and talking about how she was gnawing on her pencil. I felt sorry for her when she said that she had to splash around in the water tank for an extra five minutes during the melting river scene where Peter loses her. It was also funny when she was saying how William and Anna were trying to be all serious and sexy during the scene where they meet Aslan and she's just smiling, stupidly (just like it says in Faun 3.0's sig). Georgie made me me laugh so hard during that commentary. :D
Here's a question for anyone who cares to answer it... what was the most disgustingly cute thing you saw little Miss Henley do... you can take it out of books, the movie itself, the special features, the commentary, whatever. For me, it's either Georgie's commentary on the fashions of the 1930's and 40's, or her rendition of the Funky Chicken, done to "Check the Gate". (both in the "Magical Journey" featurette).
More hopelessly cute Georgie-moments:
* Lucy's line in the movie: "Told you he was real."
* Lucy's face when she was begging Peter to play Hide and Seek.
* Georgie's "psycho-face" -- "I'm not crazy." (From Chronicles of a Director", I think).
Kate12whisper13
04-22-2006, 10:06 PM
Must agree,!!!
I liked when she was like to Susan, "TOld you he was real" too!
And she really brought out her pleading look and voice and showed off he Brittish accent when she said, "COme on Peter, please"
MORE MEMORABLE GEORGIE BITS
* Lucy's first entrance into Narnia (also Georgie's first).
* Georgie berating Andrew in the commentary for omitting the scene where Skandar has a tear trickle down his cheek.
NarniaFanatic
04-23-2006, 01:47 AM
My turn!
Georgie's so cute, you just want to give her a big hug just like William always does. Here are the most memorable Georgie moments for me:
*When Georgie gets hugged by William or Anna
*Any of Georgie's comments in the audio commentary were both cute and funny, but my favorite was when she was talking about gnawing on her pencil because it was so random and typical Georgie and Anna was like, "That was a lovely story, Georgie."
*Georgie's potty mouth bucket (which was too cute)
*All of her main lines in the film like, "Told you he was real" or "Until you got boring"
*Georgie's evil laugh and her psycho face
*The way Georgie gets mad at Andrew in a teasing way, but still loves him
*Georgie's relationship with James McAvoy
*Georgie's cute little dances to "Check the Gate" including the Funky Chicken
*One more thing,(and I don't know if the rest of you have heard about this), but I think this is a cute Georgie moment. After LWW was finished filming, Andrew gave William, Skandar, Anna, and Georgie ipods as thanks for working so hard on the film and Georgie thanked him profusely, but when Andrew had his back turned, she whispered to her mum, "What IS it?"
Sorry if that was a little long. It's just that Georgie is one of my favorite actors. She's way too cute. :p
Kate12whisper13
I read about that too, but I heard that they got the I-Pods when they started, and they had the audio versions of the Chronicles of Narnia pre-downloaded into them. Sensible, really.
A few more from me, too:
* Georgie talking about how she was transported onto the Narnia set in the commentary, very indignant: "...and then you picked me up with BODILY FORCE and handed me down a ladder..." [loosely quoted]
* The actual footage of Lucy being transported into the Narnia set: yes, she was picked up and carried, but you could tell she was enjoying every second of it. Also, Georgie and Andrew right before she enters, she's so excited she's shaking like jello in an earthquake.
* Georgie introducing her double, Kayleigh, as "the most lovely girl I've ever met." and gushing over her clothes (they were dressed identically).
* Any shot of Georgie in her tanktop with "GIRL POWER!" on it.
* Any shot of Georgie sitting on William's lap.
* Any shot of Georgie, Will, and/or Anna giving Skandar a hug.
NarniaFanatic
04-23-2006, 04:27 AM
Basically, anything Georgie does is cute!
I think it's so funny how such a little girl has such a big vocabulary. In the commentary she used words like moronic and seductive.
I thought it was really funny when Georgie was describing the day she first walked onto the Narnia set, "I was almost tempted to call childline, they blindfolded me!"
The potty mouth bucket is my favorite, though because she kept getting money anytime someone swore. I think it's so funny how James ended up paying 4 New Zealand dollars to the bucket the very first day!
Oh, and she kept lip syncing William's line, "Hold onto me!" when he was plunging his sword into the ice. She kept memorizing everyone's lines! :D
04-24-2006, 11:11 PM
Oh, I think my favorite part in the audio commentary was when Georgie was saying how it was really her throwing the dagger in the scene where it hits the target. It was so funny because she was like, "Everybody's got to watch this! Bulls-eye!" and Skandar kept saying, "It wasn't even you!" but she was insisting that she threw the knife and kept bringing it up everytime Skandar bragged on himself! :D
And I think the chicken dance is really cute, too!
Did Georgie just make up that dance on her own?
04-25-2006, 06:12 AM
Doubtful... throwing a knife's not easy to do under the best of circumstances, and hitting a bulls-eye at that distance would require incredible skill. Of course, Georgie's an author, actress, artist, and budding comedian. So maybe she has another hidden talent.
That one interview with Georgie and James is cool. I'm glad you read it, princey. Poor Georgie and her embarrassing moments...lol
Georgie does talk a lot. I think she has ADHD or something. :D
She even admitted in that interview that she was hyper on set!
Jane Eyre is filming at the moment, I wonder if Georgie has finished the scenes she had to do or if she is going to be going to the set soon!
We shall never know, we shall never know!
And I think the casting director had a good choice picking Georgie as the younger Jane Eyre.
Look at these two photos, one of Georgie and one of the woman playing Jane Eyre. It looks like an older Georgie with darker hair and its more curlier - but they always could have changed it in the movie!
But Georgie will be playing the younger vresion of Jane Eyre, so Jane Eyre as a kid most likely!
But that's a good thing because Georgie is cute! :)
Oh, did anyone else besides me like the part in the Children's Magical Journey where Georgie describes the snowball fight? She said, "We got him(Skandar) right where it hurts, I got hit right on the forehead, and I got him(Will) right on the top of the noggin! That was fantastic! It was HEAVENLY!"
Oh, I always crack up laughing during that blooper.
But I always thought she was trying to blow out that candle herself through the whole thing. I wonder where the guy was who was blowing out the candle. lol :p That was so funny that it wouldn't go out and she was just staring at the camera trying to blow it out, too! ROFL
And I agree with cathryh. Andrew Adamson is a genius the way he captured Georgie's emotions on screen to be real. Here's another example. You know the scene where Georgie and Anna are splashing each other? Well, Andrew told her it was a practice, so Georgie really got Anna in the face good and did her evil laugh! Ah-ha! That was so cute. :D He tricked her and she was really just playing around in that scene there. That evil laugh wasn't part of the script.
What else is there to talk about Georgie? There are a lot of funny things she did on set. I like that one time Anna and William are sitting on the couch with Georgie in the middle and Skandar is lying down over their legs and Georgie is pouding on his legs trying to annoy him. lol
And another time she was trying to accuse Skandar of stealing her biscuit.
She just tries to get on Skandar's nerves.
Well, of course Georgie and Skandar sometimes annoyed the bejeebies out of each other! They, and the other two, had really developed a family dynamic, and not all aspects of a family dynamic are positive. And Georgie was a chatterbox by any standard... I mean, in the commentary, as adorable as she was, she could be a bit annoying sometimes.
Kate12whisper13
05-05-2006, 07:38 PM
Yeh, she did get annoying at times just interupting everyone!
I think Skander and Georgie disliked each other the most maybe because they are both young, Georgie bein ght eyoungest and not knowing as much where Skander was most likely crazy and energetic when he was Georgie's age! But they do love each other as a family!
Everyone loves Georgie! You can't help but love her even though she may be annoying at times (I think she has ADHD lol). It was just so sweet the way William was hugging her all the time. It made you say, "Awww......" :D
One of my favorite clips I saw where William was hugging her was after William, Anna, and Georgie had just finished the melting river scene where all the water was dumped on top of them and they had towels draped around them. What I thought was so cute (and this reminded me of my brother and I) was when they were all watching their scene on this screen and William gives this little O sign with his hand and then he cuddles Georgie while she's looking the other way. That brother/sister relationship is so cute. All of the cast really do act like a big happy family.
I remember the photo Kate12 mentions, Anna actually took it. I'm not sure that Georgie was asleep, she just looked to me like she was feeling kind of insecure. Understandable for an 8-year-old on a big, bustling movie set.
Anyway, there's a ton of Georgie stuff in the Companion book. Each child has a section of his or her own revealing, among other things, how they came about being cast and the nature of their relationsahip with the other cast members. You get the sense that Georgie kind of latched on to Anna as a role model and Will as a source of comfort and affection. And yes, you did get the sense that she and Skandar did occasionally rub each other the wrong way, but see my last concerning that. And the friendship that developed between her and James was mentioned several times as well. I loved the photo of her and James (fully Tumnus-ized) playing that hand-clapping game together.
In addition to a sizable chapter devoted to her, there were a couple of subsections, one of which included Georgie's interviews with James, Anna, her double Kayleigh (I think that the kids' body doubles should have been mentioned more), and others.
It was so funny because the only reason I cried in the scene where Aslan died was because Georgie was crying and it made me cry, too! Just seeing that little girl holding onto Aslan's mane and crying as if her heart would be break... :( She was a very good cryer and it's so funny that in that scene she was being stubborn and Andrew couldn't get her to cry. So Anna cried for four days and that finally made Georgie cry! I think Anna said, "You cried for Rachel! You cried for Laura! You cried for you dad! You cried for your mum! Why won't you cry for me?" LOL :D
Who's Pippa, Kate? :confused:
Oh, another scene they tricked Georgie into doing to make it seem real was when she was doing the scene where she meets Mr. Tumnus. There was something with a big white sheet draped over it (and it was really James in his Tumnus costume, hiding) and Georgie whispered to Andrew, "What is that thing standing next to Howard over there?" and Andrew said, "Oh, that's just another statue he's working on. He just has to add the prosthetics." And Georgie believed him! (Being an innocent little girl!) So that scene where Mr. Tumnus first appears and she screams was real because she was really scared because they told her a little white lie so her fear could be convincing. I thought that was so cool how Andrew kept doing these things to Georgie and telling her these stories to get the right scene for the movie.
I do that, too. My mom is the only person I can talk about Narnia to and I keep saying their real names instead of their movie names and I think I confuse her when I do it. The same way with my friends. It'll be like..."You know Georgie, the girl who plays Lucy, blah blah blah..."
I love Georgie's emotions in the movie. I really noticed it the 5th time I watched the movie. The little sigh she makes when Edmund says, "I was here first!" and those puppy dog eyes she gives to Peter. I also like the scene where she makes eye contact with Aslan and really empathizes with him in that one look. Georgie was very amazing and I can't say enough how brilliant she was in the film!
Yeah, and Georgie makes that cute little puppy dog look at William and goes "Pretty please?" It was so cute! :D
I also love her relationship with James McAvoy and how that scene in courtyard was real in that those were real tears she was crying. She had no trouble at all crying for the scene where she sees James turned to stone because (and its says in the commentary) she had such a close relationship to him and it was so sweet. I cried during that scene, too, especially when I found out that she was really sad in that scene. :(
Oh, you wanna hear about my dream with Georgie in it, guys?
Well, in my dream, I was in my Social Studies class at school and we were watching LWW, but the beginning of the movie was different, like they cut out some footage from the beginning. It showed Lucy (Georgie) and Edmund (Skandar) talking to each other (in their clothes from when they were on the train) and Lucy was really sad because she didn't want to leave to go the Professor's house, but Edmund was actually cheering her up and saying it wouldn't be bad. And then Susan (Anna) comes in the room in the movie and pulls a prank on poor little Lucy. I think it involved a chicken...? :confused:
It was funny, anyway! Skandar was talking like a robot in the dream and I kept embarrassing myself in class because I kept blurting things out about the movie. And that was my dream. Poor little Georgie. LOL :p
I think that with Georgie being in this film it will get her noticed. She was a perfect Lucy, and I think that a lot of directors will take advantage of that talent. When I saw movie, I thought she was like 11 or 12. But when I looked on her bio, I was like NO WAY!!! She acts a lot older than she really is. May I be added to the list?
I agree with everything you said. She seems so fun-loving and very sweet (even though she can be hyperactive lol). Georgie is just sooooo cute. You just want to go give her a hug! Lucy is my favorite Pevensie, but Aslan is my fave character throughout the whole series.
She is hilarious in the audio commentary, the way she teases Skandar. Skandar actually liked that big poofy coat he had to wear in the film, but Georgie teased him about it.
"Look at that coat, that is cool"-Skandar
"It's a pregnant womans coat! You look like a pregnant woman in it!"-Georgie
"I look like a ganster in it"-Skandar
Well, the reviewer for Seattle Weekly said the following of Georgie and some of the other actors:
"[Georgie's] irresistible crooked grin is a triumph over British dentistry. She makes Dakota Fanning look like a calculating android. Her best work is with McAvoy, who portrays craven fear, spiritual temptation, and the triumph of the will in a way to give Lewis' soul wings. Swinton's pale face and restrained manner are perfect for the witch—she's colder than the polar bears who pull her sleigh."
I'd link the whole review, but it had some stuff that wasn't very nice in it.
Georgie Henley info!!!:
Birth name
Georgia Laura Henley
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Height
4' 3" (1.30 m)
Trivia
She was brought up in Ilkley, West Yorkshire
As a thank you gift for being in his movie, Andrew Adamson gave each of the children an iPod. When Georgie got hers she thanked him whole-heartedly, but once he was out of earshot she turned to her mother and said, "What is it?"---(LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
While filming The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe she wrote two books. One titled The Snow Stag, the other A Pillar of Secrets.
Has an older sister, Rachael Henley.
Parents are Helen and Mike Henley.
Whilst filming The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), she was thrown a party to celebrate her 9th birthday (July 2004).
Her elder sister Rachael Henley played the older version of Lucy in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005).
Kept a tape-recorded journal recording her experiences during the filming of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). Some of this was later published in a book about the making of the film. (Cool!! iWANNA SEE, MAMMY!! IWANNA SEE!!!!!!)
Personal quotes
On working on the movie: "It is quite tiring and it was a bit overwhelming at first, but everyone is doing everything they can to help, so it's cool."
Oddish
I have the book in question, and it's true. Georgie and Anna both kept journals, and Georgie did a series of interviews with several people. But according to it, the children were given I-pods at the start of the picture, not the end, and the Pods had had the Chronicles of Narnia Books on Tape downloaded into them. Also, I think I saw a pic in the Simply Georgie gallery of her behind the scenes wearing what looked like an I-pod on her arm (or it might've been one of the other kids).
Of course, the stories can become inconsistent. I mean, according to Adamson, the scene where a still-bruised Edmund is talking about the witch and Lucy takes his hand (awwww, how sweet) was written in the script, and only Georgie noticed it. According to producer Perry Moore, that bit was not in the script per se, but was added when Georgie did it on her own initiative, during a screen test. So who knows who's right?
Imagine PC's request, multiplied by 5,000. Poor Georgie wouldn't be able to get her schoolwork done. That's why fanmail needs to be confined to proper channels, especially a child's fanmail.
Ture, but that is why I asked her to PM me the response. That way it would ensure a secret dealing. Typically when you are real, you tell them the reason you are not able to. Poser's tend to just give short one word answers.
The fact of the matter is that last night after I bashed SpareOoom I went on to Wikipedia and found out what school Georgie went to. Got to love the internet it's great. She goes to Moorfield School for Girls. I even found out what she was going to eat for lunch. In fact today, Georgie (and SpareOom if she is real) would be having a picnic lunch. I think it's probably best not to argue about whether or not SpareOom really knows Georgie on a forum either, IMHO.
I honestly don't know if all the cast members read every single piece of fan mail, but there was an actor from the movie THE PATRIOT with Mel Gibson I sent a book to. He wasn't a hugely known actor but he did get a lot of fan mail, and he asked the people who sort through his mail to be on the lookout for that book I sent him. He did receive it. I think if the actors get HUGE amounts of mail naturally they won't read every piece. I am hoping that the calligraphy letters I sent to Liam Neeson and Tilda Swinton, however, will get personally read, because I felt not many fans would write letters regarding their Narnia acting on calligraphy parchment paper. You'd have to make your letter stand out somehow, and I hope that their agents or mail people say, " Wow, this is an interesting letter. I'll forward it to her/him"
I'm going to be working on letters today since it's my day off and writing to Anna, Georgie, William, Skandar, and James McEvoy.
Georgie's emotions are so real and amazing for her age and just to show them of by telling Pippa Hall the book she was reading was kinda sad is amazing!
I also remember watching the CHildrens Magicial Journey at the start it showed them carrying Georgie into narnia and she kinda cried out 'I'm kinda scared' or was it nervous? I'm not sure but that showed of another emotion!
And don't get me started on facial expressions!
I'd have liked to see Georgie's audition tape... Pippa broke the ice by asking Georgie if she was stranded on a desert island with her family and no food, who she would eat first (Georgie's gleeful response: "My sister!") and also the question about "Bed and Breakfast Star" (which I haven't seen on this sided of the ocean, though I'm sure Amazon.com could get it). After making it, Pippa Hall was just over the moon: she knew that she'd found Lucy.
I remember which I read she rang up Adrew Adamson late at night and was all excited and was like "I think I've found Lucy"
And Georgie actually interupted "My SISTER" before Pippa even finished the question and then described how she was going to eat her!
Georgie Henley is...amazing. I think she is extremely talented and is PERFECT for Lucy. 'Lantern Waste' was simply amazing, because her expressions were just perfect. I loved the chemistry Mr Tumnus and Lucy had in the movie- they expressed the book perfectly.
I hope to see Georgie in other movies as well. I think she's brilliant.
You could look in the latest issue of "Movie Magic". It's mostly about Superman, but it has a Narnia mini-feature, and a shot of all four kids, and yes, they've grown. And am I the only person who thinks it looks like Skandar's hand was in a place where it shouldn't be?
