Have no clue about plots? One theory says there are two very basic plots
1. Action plot: completing/preventing an action
2. Mind plot: search for meaning
Among those plots (theoretically) are 20:Quest, Adventure, Pursuit, Rescue, Escape, Revenge, Riddle, Rivalry, Underdog, Temptation, Metamorphosis, Transformation, Maturation, Love, Forbidden Love, Sacrifice, Discovery, Wretched Excess, And finally, Ascension/descension.
