What is everyone's take on how the books and the movies differ/are the same? There is quite a bit missing from the lastest movie that was in the book. Some parts should have stayed in, in my opinion.

definitely. they took some great parts out of PoA. They didn't even say they were the marauders like they did in the book. since this is characters, I love Lupin more than any other character, he's sooo sweet, kind, smart, stop me before I go on.

but I find I am most definitely most like Tonks. I'm pretty clumsy, I'm freindly, I'd be quite happy to have pink hair as long as it was still really long.

I also liked Sirius (waahh!) and Dumbledore (triple waaaahhh!!!) I used to like Snape and I still haven't decided whether he's really evil. you can't tell!!

I loved Hermione in the first two movies, and I love her in all the books. But she just changed in the last 2 movies. Actually, I think that was more the actress, so....

I think it's hilarious how she is so smart and rule-abiding, yet at times she is egging the boys on to break them.

I don't really have a favorite character in the Harry Potter series, but if I had to make a list in order, Hermione would be somewhere at the top.

She can't help growing up though. And it would be a bad idea to replace her. She does well with what she is given.

My favourite character when I first started reading the books was Hermione, but the more I read the more I liked Harry.

Do you think that in the film the characters will be replaced because they are getting older? I hope they don't because it will seem strange and the characters are growning up, so why change the actors.

I really like Hermione but she's not my favorite character. I like Harry best except for when he's angry (a lot of that in #5). I like the way J. K. Rowling writes because she can make anything believable. I never really thought Harry and Ginny would get together but it didn't seem odd at all when it actually happened.
