Well, I'm creeping out my hole slowly and letting others read some more of my fiction. Unlike "Lost in the Woods," my collection of stories about "Theta" has a much more serious science fiction/fantasy epic storyline. I came up with this idea in 2001 starting with some sketches. I refined some characters over the years and finally wrote a very detailed story using a scriptwriting program. The script form which contains 5 finished stories (and a 6th incomplete story) contains over 90,000 words. Now I'm retranscribing it to fiction prose, adding more detail. I'm on the third chapter and have written about 9,000 words (the script form up to this point had only 4,000 words).

I've mentioned this story before, but I couldn't remember where, so I created a new thread. I published the first chapter on my webspace. I don't have a link to it from my webpage, but this is the address:
http://www.geocities.com/dragon_fafnir/theta/chapter1.html
It's just the first chapter, but it should give a feel of the style of the story and of my writing. I don't know if I'll put out the next chapter or just give a detailed summary of the entire saga. I guess that'll depend on any interest that forms. ;-)

Also, I've been indecisive the last several years about what to call the complete chronicles: "Theta Chronicles"? "Chronicles of Theta"? "Theta Galaxies"? Just "Theta"? or something completely different. I guess time will tell. Enjoy.

OK, I have a very brief description of each of the stories available at my new weblog: http://www.xanga.com/dragon_fafnir/

I'm just starting that blog up, so it doesn't have much yet (I'm planning on having that my news site, and my geocities site will be more permanent stuff).

Here are the brief descriptions of each story:

I. Theta Outlaw: the story of a group of individuals banding together to find the hideout of the galaxy's most dangerous criminal, Komm Konokin, leader of an organization obsessed with gaining control over a facility that mines a powerful mineral called "Theta."

II. Project Theta: the story of the similtaneous infiltrations of Komm Konokin's hideout (found in "Theta Outlaw") and of Project Theta (the mining facility) by Konokin and his army of kono warriors. It also tells of the kidnapping of Dragon Nordraak, Bu Torr, and Saffrillin Mrogg by the konos.

III. Theta Dragons: the story of how two rival races allied themselves with one another and of how Konokin's top man Merliber betrayed his master to facillitate his own alliance with a race of dragons.

IV. Operation Theta: the story of how Dragon Nordraak sought out an ancient race and defied orders by leading a secret attack to try to defeat Merliber and his dragons.

V. Theta Conquest: the story of how a band of former theta miners sought out clues to Merliber's mysterious attacks and accidentally awoke a force of mechanical "protectors" on Konokin's former homeworld, Kaleuni.

VI. Island Theta: the race between the United Law Enforcement and Merliber's dragons to a great legendary island, and the final great showdown between the army of dragons and the united armies of the galaxy.

This will give a little bit more of an idea of the story:
http://www.geocities.com/dragon_fafnir/theta/thetaoutlaw.html
This is chapters 1 through 6 of "Theta Outlaw."

I might reload them each as individual chapters, as this is over 20,000 words, leading to a somewhat long html file. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy my little universe I created as much as I am enjoying creating it.

Please post thoughts, questions, input, etc. here as well.

Also, I have the first five books written out as completed screenplays and I could post those as well if anyone is interested while I continue to retranscribe them to prose.
