All we know is that Disney bought the motion picture options on all of the books, not just some.

Thats all we know for a FACT, but we ASSUME (or at least many of us do) that they wont make the Magician's Nephew, at least anytime soon.
First off, they need to make all the movies that have the Pevensies in it first, so that the actors wont grow older than they should and can still play the Pevensies.
In my opinion, they should have filmed all the movies with the Pevensies first, but wait and make the Magicians Nephew and the rest that dont have the Pevensies, before releasing LWW (which is the first book that the Pevensies are featured in). Then, once finished filming all the movies, released them in the proper order as the books are meant to be read. (1. Magicians Nephew, 2. LWW, 3. Horse and His Boy, 4. Prince Caspian, 5. Voyage of the Dawn Treader, 6. The Silver Chair, and 7. The Last Battle) That would have been a sensation!
But, maybe, just maybe, they mite film and release all the films with the Pevensies in them first, then after those 4, release the ones that don't have the Pevensies (H&HB and TSC). But, I don't think that many ppl will see those....well, maybe.....I know we all would, since we're hard-core Narnia fans.

I went on this site and it said that they were hoping to release the Magician's Nephew in 2011 or 2012. I will never be too old to watch any movie that has Aslan in it. :D

You're mistaken in thinking that's the "proper" order. That's merely the "chronological" order, and it wasn't put in that order until years after Lewis wrote the books. The stories were written to be read in published order: 1) LWW, 2) PC, 3) DT, 4) SC, 5) HHB, 6) MN, 7) LB.

LWW was the most logical choice for the first film since it is the proper introduction to Narnia. Magician's Nephew was written as a flashback, though some people TRY to read it first.
