Prince Caspian Fan Trailer

Hey guys, I'm new here, but I thought you'd all want to see this! It's a live action fan trailer someone for Prince Caspian. I thought it was pretty cool, check it out!

oh yeah i saw it a while ago.. ummm i have no comments. that's all i have to say. although i aplaud the effort.

The only "bad" part was the badger, but I read on Narniaweb that the guy made the badger talking on paint. He also said he made the whole thing pretty much by himself, with a little help from his younger bros. I just thought it was pretty good so I posted it.

It's pretty cool, I saw that one. You can see mine on there as well if you type in Caspian....it's the unfinished one. Cept I dont have a camera so I'm trying to do the best I can.

I wouldn't say it's awful. Ameturish yes, but awful? Not IMO.

It's a good try! A bit more effort could have been made and the intercuts with the film don't work but it's a good shot!

It's obvious that the persons who made it are not pros, but at least they tried and the product is not so bad.

I agree with Rogue, the images of the LWW film don't work here.

At least we got something to see, just before the real filming of Prince Caspian.

Yeah well hmmmmmmm I think it works. But yeah oh well methinks both trailers have their good and bad qualities.

LOL when I started using mejonny as my internet name it was originally mebjonny but then I liked mejonny better. I created it with the intent of it being a bit funny. You are the first one to ever comment on that (unless of course you were refering to someone else that posted before me maybe :( )

The German Shepherd "wolf" was a hoot. As was the use of a North American Badger.

Isn't it great how digital video and the internet have broadened folks' horizons? I used to animate a bit and edit film when it was expensive Expensive EXPENSIVE. Think about going to Wal Mart and picking up a 36 exposure roll of 35mm film. Now think about buying several hundred feet of it. Yeah.

These days there is a really amazing little program that allows you to set up your digital camcorder on a tripod and shoot FRAME BY FRAME to your computer. You can get little models you make yourself, cardboard cutouts, or just play around with ordinary reality. It's amazing what you can do. And for no additional expense. Hard drive space is re-usable, as is DV tape. Burn the results to CD-R or DVD-R and wheeee. And if you can do good digital titles (bows humbly) there you be!

According to the guy who made it, the German Shepherd was supposed to be a "German Shepherd". He said there are so many big dogs in Narnia, why shouldn't there be German Shepherds? They are big and very fierce (yet loving) dogs.

But you're right, there are so many cool things we can do nowadays with film. The guy made the Badger talk just with Paint because he had nothing else.

Absolutely AGES. It took up so much space on my computer and I was so fussy about getting it right and getting the images to fit with the music, so I would say urm about everynight after college for 2 hours for about a MONTH. But it was worth it.
