Mafia - The Game

Beginning

This will be the official game thread of the game Mafia. All members are allowed to post, but only members that have signed up for the game will be able to vote/participate. I will now explain procedure:

The game is broken into two periods: Night and Day.

Night

During the night, the following things will happen

~The Murderers will kill one person
~The Angel will try to save a person
~The Duke will decide if he wants to sve the person hanged.

During this time, the thread will be locked, as to not tamper with the choices these jobs make. The thread will reopen when I get all the information above, and day will begin.

Day

The day is the interesting part. During this time:

~The members will vote for the person who they think is the murderer.

Days will last 48 hours, during this time you can discuss who you think the murderer is, and vote for the person you want to hang. If at any time during this 48 hours a member has more then 50% of the vote, the day is over and night begins again. If there is a tie, two people will die that night!

There are 3 murderers. All the murderers have to be hung before the citizens can win

It is currently day. Please vote for who you would like to hang tonight.

On day, in a very small town called The Dancing Lawn, there lived a huge murder ring. This ring was planning to assasinate the Prime Minister of Narniafans, Paul Specter. But the town knew of its secret, and were prepared to hang these murderers. To hide from the citizens, they disguised themselves as regular citizens, ready to kill every last person in the town so their secret would not get out.

Their first victim was Reepicheepfan, the blacksmith of The Dancing Lawn. He was seen as a threat of uprising, and could make weapons for the towns people. Reepicheepfan was found dead in his shop, delivering hippo pie, which he made himself from hunting the hippo, to baking the pie in his shop. His prayers to the Lord were not enough to send an angel to save him.

Now the towns people must vote for who they think the murderers are.

Discussion starts now. The thread is now open.

(To vote, please post your vote in bold. Anyone killed or not assigned a job is still allowed to give their two cents :))

i'm leaning towards some of our missing members. Ithilien, Lieke, and Deplorable Word were all on for a very short time without posting much. Now why would they do that if not to pm their murder to HB? and they seem to be taking a backseat now. almost as if they are trying to let us kill off each other so they can kill again.

Ithilien wanders into the town square and picks up a newspaper that is blowing about on the street. She raises an eyebrow when she sees that someone has been murdered and someone has been hung. I realize Thomas is being rather suspiscious, but at this moment in time EVERYBODY is a suspect. Just because he acts violent doesn't necessarily mean he's a murderer. :) I mean he's here all the time, how can we tell if the murderer isn't somebody that's just lurking around? They could be watching everything we post but not post themselves. That's the bad thing about playing on the internet, you have no clue who is who.

I just re-read all the posts and I've noticed a pattern...
Everybody who has been accused as a murderer are ganging up on the person who accused them. lieke and Angie were both accused by Thomas, and what do they do? Both vote for him to be killed. I may be reconsidering my vote for who is to be hung today...

Did i acted commanding (mayb it sounded like that, dunno, i'm not english, but french, and it's difficult to put differences between what i'm saying and what i really meant)? no, i do not think so, it's just that themachinist wanted to get rid of me, what would u had done if u were in my shoes? Well, if we keep Themachinist's theory about the fact that the quiet people are the most dangerous ones, well, i would be dangerous, just as Tsubasa and lieke. But it could either be a good and a bad theory. What if he's wrong and it's the contrary?
I still dunno who i can trust, but the thing is that i won't have a lot of time this week to make my own opinion (the short version is that i have to find a job, go to my grandma that i don't wanna see at all- i'm 18 and i still have to obey to my parents- and a lot of exams in the next three weeks).
I'll try to b there as much as i can, but dunno when exactly (more chances for me 2 b the week-end or very early in the morning).

Okay, It is a long story.
A few nights ago a women (under a name I do not remember) came on posting pornagraphic pictures. She was banned (forever, thank God) but she had more than one user name, so did I. As of such I was suspected while I was banned for seven days, and I broke a rule (a big rule) by creating more user names and going on during my ban. That is a rule that is not to be broken and is punishable by banning for life. Me and Chakal disscussed things over a span of to days, I was also suspected for sexually harrasing to young girls which I did not do. Chakal then wisely did an IP search and found out that the woman was not me.
Even though I broke the rule of not being able to come back on after a ban It was lifted after Chakal and Spector talked on the phone about it and they decided since all the pain we all had to go through they let me go.
In other words they let me go back on because I was suspected for a crime I did not do. Chakal risked himself for me and I thank him for that.

Lets put all the termiol we had before behind us and start over.
