this can be an RPG about the people/elves/hobbits/wizards and dwarves in middle earth. You can play a character from the fellowship or from somewere else. (eg. Saroman, gollum, Eomer etc) We'll mainly follow the book, (and movie!) so choose a char.

Won't that become boring, if we (maybe you) follow the LOTR story-line, I mean; I like the book, but isn't it boring to play scenario's from a book on a forum? You're just copying it then.

But I'm talking like a very very wet wet blanket. Sorry for that, i suggest there will be some interpretation?

We won't follow it that much. Just the main thing you know.
Ring. Ring is bad. Ring must be destroyed. Quest to destroy ring. Ring is destroyed.
We can much up heaps of things that aren't in the book.

Do we have ot be an original character or can we make up a character of our own? If we can make up a char. I would like to be a female elf who joins the Fellowship or becomes involved with them in some way. If you don't want original characters that's okay too.

I will be in Hawaii for 2 weeks. I will be back on March 28th so until then, I give my role of Frodo to whoever wants it.
