Johnny Depp as Drinian???

I think Johnny Depp can act well as Drinian, his act was so great when he play as Jack sparrow in the pirates of carribean. Maybe he can do it as well in the chronicles of nania as Drinian... ;)

i always WISHED that Johnny would be in a CoN movie, but unfortunately...I dont' think he will....remember the new face thing...and plus he's busy. :(

Johnny Depp would make a wonderful Drinian. He'd be a wonderful anything, but the problem is, he's VERY busy. I mean, think about it, he's really big. That means a lot of movies, things they ask him to act him. Let's hope he gets a part in a CoN film, because I'd love to see him in one. He's got major acting skills and would be SUCH an asset to the whole thing. He's definetly one actor I'm hoping for.

He is one of my fave actors and he could pull it off so well. The thing about Johnny Depp is that he has sort of a rep for playing creepy guys. Don't get me wrong I love POTC and Jack is one of my fave characters but I just think Christian Bale could do a better job.

He would be a perfect Rabadash, and maybe by the time they film HHB, Johnny will be available, and the series will be so well respected, he will be glad to get the role!

Ok, folks, do you realize what you're saying? When a famous actor plays a part in Narnia, it's an invasion of Hollywood into Narnia. You want someone that is not well known but can act. You want someone that in your mind IS Drinian, not Edward Scissorhands in medieval costume. Look at "The Greatest Story Ever Told." Many famous actors did bit parts free of charge just to be in it because it was the "Passion of the Christ" of its day. John Wayne was the soldier Longinus who said...with an unfortunate western twang, "Truly this was the Son of God." Some people, at that beautiful moment in the film, cringe when he comes on screen. You almost expect, "Well Daisy Mae, go back and tell folks that the Satan Boys are riding into town. Maybe we can raise a posse and cut them off at the pass!"

Yea, Johnny works his magic everywhere. Suting the movie. For instance, Finding Neverland.....I dont know many pplwho have seen that movie, yet Johnny was in it...lead role....all because he's in it doesnt mean the Narnia franchising scheme wont work.

Well that would completly ruin Drinian`s character but I never really cared aboute Drinian in the first place so... waite never mind, I could never stand watching him the whole time I`m trying to watch a Narnia film. Don`t get me wrong though, I think he did very well in the pirates of the caribean.

What I read about JD (on the internet) He didn't seem like the kinda guy who would want a minor part..He sounded like he likes the spotlight (which I can't blame him since acting is so fun, espcecially when people clap and laugh for you and so its best in the spotlight) But I could be wrong...

He says he's just "doing his job" and he shouldnt be obsessed over cuz of that.

If Johnny was to play any one… I know that some of you will want to murderer after saying this but this is what I think. If Johnny is to play anyone it should be Puddleglum. Depp is so good at eccentric sorts of parts and Puddlebglum although not eccentric as in crazy is a bit on the odd side. Don’t get me wrong, I love Puddleglum but I think if Depp was to play anyone it should be Puddleglum. However that being said I vouch for the no name actors and such.
