Mafia - Sign Up

This is basically an online version of Mafia that I found on another forum. For those who don't know what Mafia is, I will explain:

Mafia is a game where you try to discover who is murdering the people. Every person gets a job, and the players act out their jobs to try to discover who the murderer is.

Every day the murderers will kill off one member, and I will not reveal their job. The members then have to decide who the murderers are via posting or PMing. Everyday, the members will vote for who they think the murderers are (one vote a day) and at a set time a member will hang, and I will reveal what job they were. There are also ways to save the murdered people, but I will get into that later.

The game ends if there are more murderers then other members (because the murderers will vote for the remaining civilians to hang them, thus defeating the system) or if all the murderers are dead.

Jobs:
Civilian: Nothing special about you. You help try to figure out who the murderers are. You vote every day on who gets hanged.

Murderer: There will be a number of you (number to be determined when I get an idea of how many want to play) You are the people murdering the people. Your job is to collectively kill off one member every day, and then try to sway the vote so a murderer isn't killed. You will know who the other murderers are. You will PM me your decision on who you want to kill. (if you can't decide, I will take a vote)

Angel: You have the chance to save the people the murderers kill. Just PM the person you want to save to me.

Duke: You have the chance to void the decision made by the people to hang the person the civilians have chosen. Remember, you can never catch the murderers if you don't hang any members.

Police: You get to choose an extra member to be hanged. The Duke cannot void this decision. You will PM me the member you want to hang.

All murderers and the Angel will send a PM to me at the end of each day. Duke and Police will send a PM at the beginning of each day. I will say when a day begins or ends (I will always give at least 24 hours)

If you decide to play, I need you to stay until the end, and you have to be able to log on everyday, or the game will move too slowly. Also, you need to post everyday so I know you know what's going on (and you can decide who to hang) Also, you must be able to recieve PMs, or else I can't contact you, which is bad. Lastly, all members who play must not take this game seriously, and if the members want to hang you or murder you, it is not because of popularity, it is because they are suspicious of their actions (for example, a member keeps swaying to vote in their favor, protecting another member.)

Once the game is set up, I can't add new members, because it will ruin the spirit of the game.

Jobs will be chosen randomly by what order you post your reply in (ie, if I have written down that poster 100 will be a murderer, who ever posts the 100th post will be a murderer.)

This is not going to be the actual game thread, but a thread to see who is interested.

*if you died, can't you play along at all?

You can still play if you like, but your vote on who gets hanged does not count. Also, I do ask that you don't ruin the surprise if you are a warewolf. (but can you trust the warewolf's word?)

There will only be one person for each the special jobs, and no more (except murderers) If needed, I will add jobs that should help the game move along.
