It's like any web based 'community' , people will pop in have a look around and then leave, only a few ever stay unfortunately - but they are the valuable ones!. Although on the UK Google, we're on page 2, using just 'Narnia' as a key word.Hoorah!
I think it'll pick up so much more as the teaser campaign starts for the film, but once people are here the trick is not to frighten them off! (some of the stuff in the politics and religion threads could seem a little 'raaa' if you know what i mean, especially those not so into wild debating- personally though, i enjoy the challenge!)

Well Torn has the version theonelion.net, and they link to narnia fans. I don't know if they had the domain theonelion.net up yet, and I think I got the link from news about narnia submitted to Torn from Paul, so they linked to the site. I can't remember now but it was through Torn! Since most of the torn staff are Naria fans as well. :)

Yikes! I heard about the movie last July -- at DisneyWorld they mentioned it on one of the rides at Disney MGM. So then I was totally jazzed and talking about the books and film to everyone who would listen. Finally everyone told me to shut up about it in February (which was really pretty good of them, from summer through spring) and I went looking for someone else to talk to about it ... and ended up here. Hurray! :D

I've been on here for several months now, but I haven't seen this thread. So, I'll post now.
So one morning I was on my way to work and I had my christian music radio station playing. The DJ's were talking about upcoming movies. One mentioned that LWW was being made into a new movie but wouldn't be out until December. The Chronicles are my FAVORITE books so when I heard that my mouth just dropped open. It killed me having to wait until I went on lunch break to get online to see what I could find. I don't remember what search engine brought me here, but I do know that I just did a search for Narnia and found it! And I am SOOO glad that I did! :D

Hmm. I like this magical device on the internet. I call it Google. I guess firstly we'll start with my forum origins. When I was a small little(r) person at the age of eleven, I discovered... MUGGLENET. That would be the Harry Potter fan site of.. all time. I joined the forums (Chamber of Secrets, or CoS), and soon became very involved in forums. Then, I got involved in RPG. Soon, the CoS forums RPG got shut down, and I moved from one site to another, and became less involved in forums. One day, I thought: "Why don't I go on forums anymore?" and I checked out the CoS forum again. It didn't work out for me, so I decided "Okay, what are my OTHER interests?" I came up with: Swimming, Writing, Narnia, Eragon, and Redwall. I outgrew Redwall at that time, so it never cam through. Swimming.. forums? No. :rolleyes: For writing I had my friends as betas and FanFiction and FictionPress. I joined the Eragon forums, and I remembered there was a Narnia movie, and I searched on the magical device, that I call Google. I searched for "Narnia Forums" found this, but was a guest for about.. a week or two. Then, I joined and here I am. That was my full forum history. Never realized it was so long..

hahah. I found it googling Anna Popplewell. It pulled up the printable version. I liked the printable version better at the time. Because I didn't have to tell the difference between sig and post. :D
