Awards?

My daughter is doing a poster for a project at school and she chose The Lion, Witch, and The Wardrobe.

Does anyone know if the book has won any awards? Every search I've tried has brought up movie awards. Any time of writer's awards, novel awards, anything along those lines?

I'm not sure of any awards but it has come out quite well in book poles that were run by bookstores in the UK and it was in the BIG READ (2003?). I hope that helped a bit.

i don't think the book got any awards,
but the bbc version and the recent movie has.

I know its currently on its 36th week on the NY Times Bestseller List for paperback books.
